So who did you guys give the ACORN to? I'm torn between Azif or just giving it to the professor. But after talking with multiple people and them telling me what this thing is and how it works, and then remembering how the professor has no idea what the thing even is makes me think the ACORN is out of his league. I think Todd going with the expedition but not the ACORN is a good way to go. What do you think?

I gave Todd to the Ferryman and I gave the Acorn to Azif. Best case scenario imo. I also think siding with the Pirates is the better choice once you realize the back story behind the Professor and the fact that Aegis is Protectorate scum.

Spoiler below
He was a professor in Dis under old Bio Corp but when the Protectorate came he changed sides. Cadmus Grim explains it and talks about how his entire family was killed and he was exiled while the Professor was basically a traitor and switched sides just to save his own hide.

I assumed Ezra or anyone at SGS would be the optimal decision.

Why would you want Todd to go with Ferryman? It doesnt seem like a bad choice, but I would think Todd getting to live a more normal, social life in Dis would be better for him than riding around in a boat with only the Ferryman to keep him company.

What's a decent, fun heavy metal high CON build that isn't AR? I tried to think of a hammer build for maximum fuck-stealth 10CON Balor dude, but it's hard to see how you can secure enough mobility while stacking every survivaiblity thing. Hoping to avoid most/all of stealth / psi / traps since most builds are built around that.

I guess it's also silly to build for Balor hammer if you can only use it by level 20+.

Take that build and add haste, that's quite comfy MP wise. Gonna be a lot of corner abuse, FF would be a good add.

I'd also consider INT 6->5 and run around with full 95% tungsten, sprint + haste ignores armor penalties.

The natives' vitality powder adds 4 STR instead of 2, so that'd give you 20 STR a bit sooner.

TM really adds a lot with the haste + increased sprint uptime, you could go without it but it'd just lead to more corner cutting.

so... if i were to play pure thrower after all... any idea how would i deal with nagas? When compared to regular knives, throwing one would have slightly higher base but twice the ap cost. Grenades got cooldowns and arent that impressive imo(my knifer is already using them). Also you lack expose weakness and versatility cant fill the gap.

Are you forced to max lvl guns and spam acid gun at close range or something?

I'm pretty sure two MK III corrosive or rusting acid traps would usually kill a Naga. Leveling traps would also keep you closest to a "pure thrower" build while needing less skill and feat investment compared with choosing another combat skill. Though you do need to level stealth somewhat (I'm assuming you already were planning to do that).

He's the only person with the proper context to not only understand Todd but help him move forward. Going to Dis wouldn't do anything to help him as an individual, but would simply normalize him to protectorate life. His entire existence is an anomaly to everyone outside of the black sea, and only the Ferryman has the briefest glimpse into what he may have gone through. He will help him find himself and shed his burdens. Todd is one of the few who might ascend. He is a blank slate in the Underrail.

Can you give Todd to anyone outside the Black See?

Any easy way to remove a feat?

So Patsy finally arrived in the infamous locust vacation spot yesterday. It wasn't that annoying with sneak, since you can plant tnt and it one-shots them, but whoever came up with the idea that such enemy design would be fun in turn-based... :hahano:

Styg At this point my improvement suggestion would be to add a disco inferno soundtrack and a disco-spinning ball to the action bar meter in the hive areas.

About the Professor.... is there any way to

Learn about his (Protectorate) funding and BioCorp background before you are forced to choose between Aegis and the Pirates?
