So, i get from Fenix's post that shotguns are alright? I want to start new game with Expedition now and considering hobo with a shotgun build. Are there some advice on what stats/feats other than shotty specials are good to have or what armor or evasion/dodge to have.

They're pretty good, but they take awhile to get going, you're going to want a side arm of some kind though to deal with enemies at range or simply when the shotgun falls short because early game shotgun damage is really sporadic.

Why wasn't I warned about the fucking junkyard
Every NPC in Depot B tells you that Depot A is a hellhole with mutants and rogue bots and mines, maybe you just garbage at playing these kinds of games?

NPCs also said that a couple of psi bugs was hell. This is closer to being shafted by a 16 inch black cock after having a particularly spicy curry.

Keep in mind that Depot A was much harder at release: mutants and doggos had way more hp.
Anyway, use traps, mines and grenades and you'll manage.

The easiest exploit for Depot A is to enter an area, fight, exit when it gets too heated, then enter from the opposite side. repeat until all mutants dead.

Finished it. Nice game. Deep Caverns were shit initially but then I just stealthed. In stealth, they are okay.

Now I just want those fucking questions that are left open at the end answered.

Underrail 2 when?

I kinda liked the deep caverns.

Me too after I decided to stealth it. Really liked some of the lore I discovered there, and the boss fight was cool.

Also, I love how after you get the cube, the game doesn't automatically end but you go back to SGS and debrief, and then get a choice on where to go to end the game.

finished it. tchort (with mutagen puzzle solved) went down in less than 5 turns. the first time, it took 1+ hours for me to kill it.

also get alot of story elements i did not get the first time around, mostly because i did not befriend the faceless, and have high will to see all those monoliths. i also did not think to talk to azif before ending the game, which has alot of story dumps, and basically made everything clear except for the six/tanner/cube plot.

underrail 2, i am ready!

Are there any negative/story consequences for wiping out all the instantly hostile guys in the sørmirbæren villages in the north of the black sea?
I basically just started Expedition with my post-DC char, and did the mutie island quest so far, now exploring a bit.
Met with Yngwar, but don't quite have enough Intelligence I think, so just messing around until my next level up to get +2. Are all the other natives except him basically expendable? Nothing much to do in the villages and graveyard except kill and loot?

nah, the first thing you do, to save yourself from headache is sail north and spray them with PC-style pesticides.

you learn more about them later in the end, which don't even make me feel bad. i feel just "oh okay, glad they are dead"

Parabalus, Candide If you need a Black Sea map for the wiki, feel free to use mine.
Here, I've made an updated version. It should include every location (visible on the map). Plus, I have marked locations with hostile natives and pirates by "N" and "P" respectively.

And below, an empty version, without any markers, just in case:

I hope I did not miss anything.

BTW. I'll ask again. Is there anything left to do after ending the expedition's main questline? I got the torch, and befriended a certain guy. But the monolyths are still a mystery to me. Every hostile pirate and native still lives BTW. With the exception of some shamans.

Need to sticky it.

Ok I have a serious question.

Is every native attack on the Expedition camp stronger than the previous one? In my campaign the first attack was laughable, did no damage, all the SEC soldiers survived.

The second attack was brutal, despite my constant support for the defenders. 9 soldiers (out of a total of 35 guarding the camp) perished, the turret was almost destroyed, I had to intervene personally to save it from the enemy crossbowers.

It was an all out bloody battle. In the end we won, but it was a truelly Pyrrhic victory. So I am curious what's your experience: is every native wave stronger then the ones before?

And does a punitive campaign up north against their villages actually help to weaken the pressure on the camp?

After what I've seen I am feeling mildly genocidal.

30. There are 30 soldiers at start. Not 35.
