Maybe they don't like ubisoft open world collectathon systems. Why anyone would play with classic XP instead of oddity is beyond me.

oddity is nothing like that, so that doesn't explain much.Maybe they don't like ubisoft open world collectathon systems. Why anyone would play with classic XP instead of oddity is beyond me.
Have you even tried it? You're rewarded with XP for exploring new areas of the game and for fulfilling quests, rather than killing generic bandit #10569. Your levelling curve is thus in line with the amount of the game you've actually experienced, rather than with the amount of combat you've gone through. It's dressed up in a top hat and well done but that's what it is.
I thought I have – Oddity is clearly the superior system (by an order of several magnitudes, it's not even a contest), so I'm curious as to why anyone would play with the drab old classic, save perhaps being unwilling to even try Oddity.I've basically seen it all by this point having cleared the game many times. It sounds like you want people to do every single run on Oddity or something, maybe you should explain yourself instead.
Tremendously good. Take High-Tecnicalities, Disassemble and Practical Physicist.Going back to underrail and want to try heavy guns. Fusion cannon, specifically. Is it any good? Any tips for the build?
It's getting the gun that's the tricky part.Tremendously good. Take High-Tecnicalities, Disassemble and Practical Physicist.Going back to underrail and want to try heavy guns. Fusion cannon, specifically. Is it any good? Any tips for the build?
Not really. You don't even have to fight anyone, just have like 130 effective stealth. It's getting the gun that's the tricky part.Tremendously good. I understand getting high-tecnicalities and PP, but why disassemble?Tremendously good. Take High-Tecnicalities, Disassemble and Practical Physicist.Going back to underrail and want to try heavy guns. Fusion cannon, specifically. Is it any good? Any tips for the build?
might depend on difficulty, dont they come with true seeing dogs? Not really. You don't even have to fight anyone, just have like 130 effective stealth.
This might have something to do with it: "Blueprint: Fusion Cannon is a special blueprint that cannot be bought. It can be only gained by inspecting Fusion Cannon Frame obtainable by disassemling the Fusion Cannon."I understand getting high-tecnicalities and PP, but why disassemble?
My experience is on Dominating playing a 3 AGI build and stacking stealth solely through crafted gear. As for designator bots - just avoid them, their detection radius is slightly smaller than your vision radius.might depend on difficulty, dont they come with true seeing dogs? Not really. Necroing, but I want to start my first DOM playthrough and avoid fucking myself over with gimped build, so any advise is more than welcomed.Yes.Dudes, is DOM possible without any dip of psi? Specifically hit-n-run SMG/grenadier dex build?
Newton psi beetle warehouse is probably the hardest part of the game on dominating. You need some sort of cheese to win there. There are just too many beetles.
Traps are very useful for sure. Though personally, I like to make use of gas grenades instead – you only need to dip into Chemicals a bit to get the toxic one (the best one, btw) and with that, you can kill large numbers of high-HP enemies at once super easy (the gas not only deals damage, but also adds stacking multiplier on the enemies so they end up taking double or triple the damage or somesuch if you gas them enough). With early game enemies, if they get properly gassed, you can basically just prod them with anything and they'll keel right over. Just keep in mind they don't work on the big mutants in Depot A since they're immune to bio damage.Necroing, but I want to start my first DOM playthrough and avoid fucking myself over with gimped build, so any advise is more than welcomed.Yes.Dudes, is DOM possible without any dip of psi? Like said, I want to roll with same char that I did a run on Hard - max DEX, min CON/STR/WIL hit-n-run glass cannon, with no brainer perks for such build (spec ops/commando/grenadier/suppresive fire/opportunist/etc).
Any tips on what to take to make early game doable? I gathered that traps and quick tinkering are a must, amirite?
Make sure to use chems too. Adrenaline in particular is a must-have in any playthrough, IMO, and morphine can save you if shit gets really bad and you need to tank damage. With grenades, flashbangs are extremely important and molotovs are a close second – setting an enemy on fire causes him to get scared for 2 turns, so it's like flashbang-lite. Damage-dealing grenades are a lot less useful on DOM than on lower difficulties, though they synergize very well with gas grenades if you learn how to use them. If you're planning to invest in tailoring, making a mutant dog leather armor specifically for depot A isn't a bad idea – negating all the acid shit is pretty useful. Aside from that, cheese doorways and you should be golden. Thanks, good point - on Hard I've never used gas grenades, but on DOM the stacking +dmg debuff seems like a way to deal with HP bloat.
Any other early game tips that will get me through Depot and prevent from rage quitting? The general consensus I saw to survive early DOM is traps + grenades.
