Is there a DePopamole mod too?

my understanding is, that in May 2018 the unofficial version "Bugs Fix 1.6.0.0105" (v.33) got included in the official patch. Since then, the unofficial patch development continued while there was no official patch anymore. So, the latest AoD version is the official patched (May 2018) + latest unofficial patch ("Bugs Fix 1.6.0.0119" (v.30)) from 11 January 2019.

Here's a mod from steamcommunity.com:

PS3 Button Prompts for Xbox Controllers

Steps:
1. Download this file:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1oGXSEN ... sp=sharing

2. Locate your Yakuza 0 game folder

3. Proceed to go into this folder:
Yakuza 0\media\data\2dpar

4. Back up the file:
sprite_c.par

5. copy/move the file you downloaded on step one to this folder and replace the one already in it.
And you're done.

#Spekkiopatch

Guys, stop that.

It's just the Mods adjusting to current, popamole-loving 'Dex demographic. I don't think there are that many current unsers playing something else than the AAA newshit.

Understandable decission from business POV.

It is true, my sources tell me EA and Ubisoft are paying the Kodex top dollar to bury threads like this.

Some general tools that can help get old games working on modern OS:

IntegerScaler
http://tanalin.com/en/projects/integer-scaler/
This will scale a game running in a window into an integer scaled borderless fullscreen window. Best use for this is playing 2D isometric classics like Baldur's Gate, Fallout, Jagged Alliance 2 at the intended (native) resolution scaled up with perfect clarity and without any artifacts or distortion.

DxWnd
https://sourceforge.net/projects/dxwnd/
Intercepts system calls to make win32 programs run in a window, to support better compatibility, to enhance video modes, etc. Useful for running old windows games.
You can also use it to force games to run in a window, for use in combination with IntegerScaler.

InstallShield replacement
http://toastytech.com/files/setup.html
A lot of games will run on modern Windows OS, but the installer is 16-bit and is therefore not compatible. I know someone mentioned an installer wrapper in this thread, but here's another option. In most cases you would copy the contents of the CD (or CD image) to your HD, replace the installer with this one, and then run it. This is how I got Warlords III DLR and MechCommander Gold to install without a hitch on Win 10 (bonus: you can use all three of these applications to run both of these games in a window and scaled up to a beautiful 1280x960 borderless FS window and get them looking crisp and clean).

Clogging the Multiverse with a Crowbar
NewDark has been updated to v1.27:

Changes and fixes for v1.27
---------------------------

General:
- fixed an issue with wrong texture palette being used on world textures, from families without a full.pcx,
after loading savegames
- fixed original bug where under some circumstances random objects started playing voices from a recently
destroyed AI
- fixed an original bug in some loading code that could on occasion cause trouble when loading savegames or
during level transitions in SS2
- updated "doc\T1.7z" package with a motiondb patch to fix a small issue in T1 mode (see the contained readme)
- added "hide_maxed_hpbar" config var that will hide the health bar when player has full health

DromEd:
- fixed room(/EAX) type not being copied when cloning room brush
- added incremental save support (see "incremental_save_dir" in "doc\new_config_vars.txt" and the supplied
sample "dromed.cfg")
- added "load_world_gam" command that tries to load a cow (or mis) file, but will prompt user to load a
gamesys file, might be useful for rescue or debugging (the loaded result must be carefully inspected
as gamesys data will likely differ from what was in the cow)
- added "load_terrain" command that tries to load only terrain, no objects, from a mis/cow, might be useful
for rescue or debugging
- added "reload_motion_info" command, to reload data from a mi-file without having to rebuild entire motiondb
- added "dump_motions_schemas" command (see "doc\motion_schema_syntax.txt")
- added CTRL and ALT modifiers when clicking in solid view while the texture palette is open
(CTRL allows changing selected surface without assigning a texture, ALT picks the texture from the clicked
surface and sets it as the current selection in the texture palette)
- added positional info to some portalization merge errors

Other:
- fixed a bug in SQUIRREL.OSM with SendMessage function and the data3 param
- fixed incorrectly documented game/API version for a couple of functions in the DarkGame script service
- updated a parameter for the ObjRaycast function in the Engine script service (should be backward compatible
with existing code that uses it)
- Notepad++ files for Squirrel updated to reflect latest fixes
- added PossessedSimple function to the Property script service
- added stun an freeze functions to the AI script service
- added Create and CreateArch commands to DMLs
- added multiplayer beta (separate executable)

TFix and T2Fix patches have been updated accordingly:

I played Anachronox this year, and one of the problems I noticed was the incorrect transparency and lack of fog. It was mentioned in one of the threads linked here, but I didn't see a solution there. However, I did eventually find something that fixed it: QindieGL

But isn't that place on the screenshot supposed to be closed? Makes sense having it darkened.

one more update:

Fallout 1: fallout-et-tu unoffical patch

recently Lexx finished the "Fallout 2 engine to Fallout 1 game" mod. this by itself fixes many of the problems fallout 1 has.
Additionally Killaps fixes were included as also Fallout FIXT was integrated, so this is better than fallout fixt alone. (also, Suidbek, the fallout fixt author will continue in future only on this branch)

https://www.nma-fallout.com/threads/fallout-et-tu-alpha-release.218045/

EDIT:

also, Hell froze over and Drog Black Tooth updated after 10 years his Arcanum patch!
http://terra-arcanum.com/drog/uap.html

Currently at version 1.5.1. also, there seems to be crowdfunding campaign for version 2.0

Elevator Of Love
Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Speaking of Quake 2 engine, there is a nice patch for Kingpin.

Patch

Apart from custom resolutions option available, it has more interesting tweaks as well.

FOV auto-adjustment
Anisotropic filtering
Anti-aliasing
Improved dynamic lighting
Improved lighting of see-through surfaces
Improved shadows

And more small improvements making it working and looking better on modern computers.

It works for all available versions of the game, although I recommend using version 1.21 for best experience.
