Well she did write a series of articles about VtMB and specifically about it's depiction of sexuality in vampiric setting. And that was in 2014, when nobody from mainstream cared about the game or its potential sequel. So, I guess, she can be considered one of the game's champions in VG journalism. Which is probably how she's gotten the writing gig for the sequel.

Bloodlines treats characters as much more complex than we have a right to expect from games, though I think there could be huge improvement in its treatment of women and sexuality, and its treatment of people of colour is very poor. It still manages to stand out from other games in the way it welcomes sexual themes

So what we can gather from all of this:
1. She's a big fan of the game.
2. She's hot for Jeanette. Like, really hot...
3. She applauds the game depiction of sexuality and how it embraces the vampire/penetration metaphor, while still mentioning "needs more diversity for girls" (in both their sexual depiction and men to indulge in, which is fair, I guess) and "other races" (meh).

All in all, I guess she's not the worst case to be writing the sequel in this day and age, considering what the PnP turned into and the developer being from a West Coast metropolitan city. Also, keep in mind, shes being overseen by Brian-fucking-Mitsoda (who wore leather gloves to the fucking presentation, meaning he still got some of that nonconformism from back in the day).
