I'll speak for myself, but that sounds interesting to me. I could do with a few RPGs that aren't just about a power fantasy or making your character stand out above the rest. Exploring what it is to be a Vampire on a day-to-day basis sounds great.

Strongly disagree. We already went through this recently with Nighthawks. I don't want the genre to be turned on its head. Particularly in a fucking sequel. I want a game that does the fucking genre.

Pattern I have noticed with publishers and RPGs for a loooong ass time is that when they are reluctant to misgenre their game aka even call it RPG that in 9.9/10 cases that means RPG elements are very scarce. If they do call it RPG that might have very little in common with what actually RPG means according to Codex dictionary and sensitivities but still it shows that they sell or pretend to sell something that at least might vagualy align with what RPG used to mean.

Here so far, except in one-two isolated cases I didn't hear name-drop of RPG and role-playing in all of their press releases. Quite weird and suprising cause RPG is no longer Nosferatu genre and name in eyes of marketing boards, not after Skyrims, Kingdom Comes etc. and Paradox is not afraid of selling complex fun to masses with more then 2g of brain mass. Hope I'm wrong, can some !!WOKE!! individual give me some of their hype and prove me wrong? Waiting...
