you can't choose who you love mate.
What can't you accept that he is just like her? Did you even play Dead State? The game is filled to the brim with hamfisted agendas.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Given that these guys live in Seattle and Brian Mitsoda is a cynical motherfucker, the Champaign socialists and Amazon liberals will be mocked mercilessly.
Mitsoda himself is married with a "obnoxious liberal".

You think he’s never rolled his eyes at his own wife? That flies in the face of everything we know about marriage. Brian Mitsoda is not some humorless scold.

A lot of television shows are worked on by teams of writers. It's also fairly common for movie scripts to go through multiple (often uncredited) revisions by other writers. :M
I've never seen a single episode worked on by a lot of writers. They have a lot of writers for different episodes, but very rarely do multiple work on the same one.

To be fair, would the Camarilla look kindly on a Thin-Blood made from a Mass Embrace? Anarchs look like the only faction that could help out a protagonist in these circumstances

It's not that simple. Neither the Camarilla nor the Anarchs would do that because they're the Camarilla or the Anarchs. Either could have reasons to (appear to) do so, springing from whatever agenda they're simmering at the time.

You're a pawn. If a faction finds you useful, it will "help" you. Pretty simple really.

character sheet confirmed?

The point of personalizing your character is lost a lot when the game is first person...
Most of the time, you will not see your character.

i can see where you're coming from but i heard makeup was invented in a first person game called life

j/k -- Yeah, it does seem like the game will be first person for the most part but third person is contextual so I'm imagining feeding and scaling buildings at the least.

Plus, confirmation of an actual character sheet for stats is pretty nice.

It'd be awesome if there is a super detailed character creation screen where you can individually place a tasteful mole on your otherwise flawless complexion

and that's the only time we ever see your face in the entire game

If anything, Bloodlines 2 ought to be a time capsule of 2019 if they want to realize WoD's theme of vampires being a part of modern society; that inevitably includes youngsters being into politicking again, big tech having an even greater grasp on our lives than before, people trying to find their identity outside established conventions of gender and sexual preferences, alienated loners trying to find their place in the world, and all that SJW entails. Anything short of that would be stepping on eggshells and merely pretending. I mean, this shit writes itself. I can already foresee questlines about a vampire and an overly altruistic human falling in love and being ostracized by both vampire and human society, how the traditions of the Camarilla need to adapt to Fledgling wishes of being referred to the proper pronouns, how you have to decide what kind of fake news is sent into circulation, how you have to help out some asylum filled with Kindred afflicted with mental illnesses, and so on.
This analysis seems wrong to me for many reasons. Firstly, all vampires that matter are old, very old or ancient and there is very little chance that any of them would be a conformist. I could imagine them become more arrogant or evil but more tolerant? They already consider humans as food so why would they care about pronouns, faggots, niggers, mudslims, etc.? Camarilla is very, very old and is very resistant to change just like every other ancient organization (e.g. Church). Why would any of them take part in that circus? If anything they would try to prevent it because chaos is counterproductive and spoils food. If leftists were left alone you would have "Venezuelans" all over the world instead of well fed, high-quality-blood Swiss.

Thin bloods are also a problem to them, they're just another mouth to feed (less blood for them) not to mention they're just a ticking bomb waiting to destroy the masquerade. Having to worry about other immortals and "people" with severe aversion to sunlight is just stupid. It's one thing to make a living for centuries without being discovered when your numbers aren't that great but with thin bloods it just becomes too much work. Also, embrace is a huge deal and it can't be done by anyone anytime they want because of the many problems it creates. So why would they choose mentally ill people (e.g. LGBTFAGS) or other retards? I don't see how 2019 would change anything in their behaviour other than them being even less willing to creating more mouths to feed.

Edit:
I hope they are careful with this stuff you are mentioning, the fun of World of Darkness is the alternative monster societies coexisting with human modern urban society, there is always a risk of the writers just making a story about the modern human world with characters that happen to be vampires, and this is boring as fuck as the purpose of fantasy isn't to make commentaries about social issues, the purpose of fantasy is to explore fantastical societies and to explore the "What if?" question, in this case, "What if vampires co existed with humans?", the humans are the background here and should not be the main focus.

If you could remove the fact the characters are vampires from the equation and the story still makes sense, that is a bad sign. It would be a mistake to just take stuff from the real world like social media for example and just copy paste the dilemmas that affect humanity on the vampiric society, fucking boring. We act based on our existence status, if you are immortal, your time frame will be of decades and centuries, so social media effect won't be the same for you as of a common human, if you are an immortal undead with no morality, no need to work and make a living to survive, actually being insane might be something that makes you better than something that causes suffering.

For example, talking of gender on fucking undead monstrosities or even worse, gender oppression on beings that pretty much live to kill other people, would be retarded. If you really want to add your lefty things, you must do through a lens of how that would work on beings that are immortal and pretty much are okay into killing to live, if you copy paste social issues without a thought and don't even stopping to think the context of the fantasy world you created, you will just have a story about humans that larp as vampires instead of a story about vampires.

I could kill humans and policemen to the point there was no more police but my humanity wouldn't go lower than 3 (which would mean game over). We will see if these Seattle leftists will do one thing right at least.

"By maliciously misgendering trans folk, you've lost all your humanity. Game over, alt-right scum!"

Yeah, that they could.

Even if the VTM writers didn't want perfectly reasonable right-wingers to play their games, what could they do about it?
Oh nothing much. Just put people in a situation where the game will punish you for making "alt-right" choices, if such choices are in the game. And also dismiss any review you have of the game as "alt-right". You will not be allowed to talk about the game in an honest way with it's community because they're all nutters. But unlike the Codex they'll actually dox you if you are caught playing a game you're not allowed to play.

This episode of Seinfeld has more writer credits (ten) than any other episode. As co-creator Larry David was returning to write the finale, this was the final episode for the active "after Larry David" writing staff and thus was a group effort.

Chris Avellone doesn't like having tons of responsibility and authority, so expect Cara Ellison to have tons more involvement than him.

This. SJW themes in this setting make no sense whatsover.

What does that have to do with the price of tea in China? His last game was filled with SJW themes. He is like her. Just accept it and move on.

humanity points being a resource is good and perfectly in line with feel of vampire

they just need to do three things - have the more financially/politically rewarding decisions be sociopathic and inhuman in true vampire fashion AND make the recovery of humanity points costly AND actually make frenzying at low humanity have impact on the way the direction of the story goes(maybe through forcing you into frenzy during some core store moments or restricting non "evil" options down the line of low humanity)
This was implemented in vtmb, to a degree, with your humanity being tied to how callous you would become and limiting empathetic options while dealing with others. So if you had low humanity, you'd be a complete cunt and iirc it could limit quest options since without the empathetic responses some quests couldn't be started.
