In any case, seeing how this game is a direct sequel (and using/recreating at least some of the assets), they must have bought out all the remaining rights from Activision.

Paradox trademarked the name Bloodlines some years ago (https://www.pcinvasion.com/vampire-bloodlines-trademarked-paradox-owned-white-wolf/) and as many of the Bloodlines NPCs were already mentioned in Beckett's diary, it's probably only the game itself that Activision still hold complete rights for.

Weren't chars like Jeanette, Lacroix, original creations of Troika? Later added to canon lore?

Btw I think, as WOTC with Baldur's gate owning all the rights, even the source code, and Bioware (and then EA) basically nothing, the real life saver is, they created original material using a license.

That's the difference with Arcanum.

VV makes me feel funny, tingling feelings in my pants, she definitely should come back. Don't give her extra clothing, though, no matter how contemporary and girl powah that would be.
It looks like he thic (fat) redhead in the trailer is her replacement.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
So what's the gist of all this? MCA and Brian Mitsoda are involved in writing/making an unrelated sequel, but will have to find their way around political correctness and cuckery, or develop a game that embraces both...and their genius will convice everyone (doubting phobic people) that it's really not so bad?.

The times...they are a-changing...

I'd trade a quarter of the posters in this thread for space nugget. He was a helpful little plant.

Changed oslist – windows › windows,macos,linux

For an Unreal Engine 4 game?

Unreal 4 can compile games for Linux too, it's just usually nobody bothers. Probably because they don't want to deal with providing support or whatever. I imagine usually the kind of company willing to license UE4 instead of cheaping out and using Unity isn't too interested in providing a Linux build, or even Mac for that matter, but there's nothing stopping them

Yeah, I knew UE4 can ship to Linux but had an impression it does not run well on Linux. I guess I confused it with that its development tools are not great on Linux.
