Jeezus men. All he is saying is that it will look better. Might be more graphical i.e. less like a sheet and more visually attractive. Of course you can debate which one is better, the correct answer is it does not matter if you can somehow read the underlying numbers by hovering mouse over the models.

Calm down, I just don't see how "exp spending" should be pleasant. It already is plenty pleasant, you spend it and your character gets better. That's whack.

Brian Mitsoda might appear on Matt Chat in the near future. Here are the words from the man himself:
"So this was the reason I couldn't do Matt Chat previously, but let me ask Paradox marketing if they are cool with this right now. If they aren't, I can make sure it happens when I can more freely talk about the ins and outs of BL2"

They can make it like blood flowing down a wall, and you directing the little blood trail by skill choices so in the end it looks like your engraved "bloodline" on some ancient crypt.

Spending points wasn't really that pleasant
Wot? How is exp spending supposed to be "pleasant"?

Maybe I didn't clarify what I meant but going over each attribute or skill and clicking on the empty circle isn't as good as just increasing or decreasing the numbers by arrows. Also, it's not as fast to skim everything in the sheet with no numbers for each stat :M

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Actually the char sheet in VtM:B resembles the actual char sheet of the VtM pen and paper RPG. The circles were a "standard":

This looks a lot like that zombie fallout parkour game Avellone has worked on, goes without saying that this has nothing to do with the original, glad that Mitsoda got another shot at AAA games.

From the Kotaku article:

[...]player start as a “thinblood” vampire. This limits their early powers to certain ability trees like the Chiropteran tree which allows for levitation or the Mentalism tree, which grants access to telekinesis. It affects how you might deal with exploration. If a door is blocked, you could use your mentalism abilities to remove the barricade. Or maybe you spec into the Nebulation tree, turn into mist, and sneak through an air vent. The goal of this power-focused exploration, according to Paradox Lead Producer Christian Schlütter, is to make sure players “don’t see the world like a human

Turning into bats, into mist, telekinesis; these are way too overpowered disciplines for a fledgling thin blood to have. A fledgling is supposed to be basically like an overpowered human caught up in a whirlwind of primal emotions and hunger, without such high level abilities. It sounds worrying to introduce these as beginner powers.

But perhaps PC's thinblood will be, duh, "special"

Wasn't it because he was shitting on the old style of making characters? Proclaiming it was too hard, when 10 year olds with no English could figure it out.
