Bloodlines was guilty of the "impossible beauty standards".Do you people seriously think scantily-dressed women are considered politically incorrect?

Never heard of this medallion business before. Just when I thought the US couldn't get weirder.Ehh I live in NYC and even with the regulation taxi's are slowly dying. My uncle even owns a taxi medallion and that thing has devalued from 1.5 mill to around 300K now. The convenience is just too great.
But Jack, Nines or Bertram being in Seattle would at least make sense because of their modus operandi. VV and Jeanette not really, they're anchored in LA having businesses there and are too lazy to do anything themselves anyway.tbf it would be cool to see Jack and/or Beckett again, at least
Beckett maybe.
Jack, Jeanette/Therese, VV, Nines, Bertram etc would be blatant pandering.
There are? Do tell.
"Wherefore art thou, Mercurio?"
Another thing, Ecaterina from Redemption is voiced by the same lady that does Bloodlines' Pisha.

It's the title of a quest in Bloodlines:

Mercurio is one of Redemption's earliest boss fights.

I must have merely imagined an ad of an attractive woman causing a shitstorm then being banned simply because they were attractive and not covered in a burkaI guess it's my fault for trying to get through to internet incels.

It's not simply Pisha's voice, it's Mary Elizabeth McGlynn. You might know her from such things as -Another thing, Ecaterina from Redemption is voiced by the same lady that does Bloodlines' Pisha.

And other such things.
you're deafThese mean nothing to me.
I don't see how that's relevant in a game where we play only at night. Unless we won't play only at night which would be more interesting and could pose an interesting challenge. Unless this Kipling spouted first thing that came into his mind without any logic to it.A. Kipling said:(...) [Seattle] also benefits from lack of sunshine, generally being a fairly moody city in that regard (...).
I think they will avoid Jack, if only because his presence would giveaway Caine's involvement in the plot or some greater scheme (well, greater than usual scheme). In contrast, I think Nines, Pisha, and Jeanette are more likely. They each have grounds to be in Seattle for one reason or another (pushed out by Camarilla, business opportunity, fat people to eat, etc.). Jeanette and Pisha's presence would be pure pandering, but I would love to see more of Pisha. But Jack, Nines or Bertram being in Seattle would at least make sense because of their modus operandi. Personally I would like to see Pisha again the most because it would make most sense (she can't be in one place for too long due to her unique tastes) and would be a great base for an interesting quest.
BTW, has anyone (besides me, they haven't answered to my tweet yet) asked devs whether we will get the chance to walk during the day (or die trying, just like in VTM: Redemption)? I've thought about it while reading the interview (which got very little attention here despite being rather comprehensive), particularly this fragment:

15th generation vampires feel some aspects of the curse less acutely than other Kindred. They are less affected by sunlight, both physically and psychologically; they find it easier to wake during the day, and may survive exposure to dim sunlight unharmed.
It is interesting you say that, because I noticed in the wiki for Thin Bloods:

Well they did issue a copyright infringement letter to the devs of Project Vaulderie, which was a modern remake of the Bloodlines. And apparently they had a legal case ready, which caused those guys to agree with 'cease and desist' right away. It's not clear that Activision ever owned any of the intellectual property in the first Bloodlines. They could just have a license to sell it.
Right, I got the letter mixed up. But later Paradox themselves said: "The original Bloodlines is handled by our partner Activision".Well they did issue a copyright infringement letter to the devs of Project Vaulderie, which was a modern remake of the Bloodlines. From the page of the project (http://www.projectvaulderie.com/goodnight-sweet-prince/), the C&D was coming from CCP Games, holder of the WoD licence at the time. So I think Activision has only the distribution rights of BL.
Also if Activision owned any IP from BL, the devs would have talked about it in their announcement, with something like "in collaboration with Activision"
In any case, seeing how this game is a direct sequel (and using/recreating at least some of the assets), they must have bought out all the remaining rights from Activision.
