The chick in that image does not look like she's 3 standard deviations above the handful of the most beautiful women in the world. :M

Beauty such as hers can't be captured by means of any media, it must be experienced :obviously:

That is probably indeed the point. Vampires (and Garou) are supposed to have animal magnetism, so if anything, seeing her would probably flood your brain with oxytocin as if you were in love. Of course in that case the person looks much better than in reality.
Tfw no big tiddy vampire gf.

I find this phrasing very funny because it kinda suggests someone taking your money is sexual, and something else is even more sexual.

Still wondering why Paradox is keeping it silent about what studio they chose to replace Hardsuit.

The second question of course would be their exact intentions. Are they genuinely trying to save this one to the point of funding an almost complete do-over or just to wrap it up in a somewhat serviceable form to cut their losses?

If it’s the latter, it would be pretty damning for the previous studio that they couldn’t even manage that.

Said it was because the contracts aren't actually signed.

It's within the realm of possibility that the deal falls through and they just silently let it remain canceled (like Obsidian's Wheel of Time game that people kept bringing up for years even though it never existed beyond an announcement).

As I understood, the deal is done. The spaghetti code has been gifted to the new team. We may get more information on March 13, when the Paradox Insider event happens.

If the new team has any sense, they'll spend 5 minutes trying to decipher the inevitable mess of spaghetti code and then scrap the whole thing to start over.

They could be keeping silent because:

1. The new studio will put them in a worse light.
2. They are waiting for the right marketing/PR event to make the annoucement to hype it.

Based on Paradox's exceptional marketing ability, my expectation is they'll do 1 and 2, which will do even more damage than just doing #1 by itself.

It's funny, because one of the advantages video games have over film and TV is that they don't have to worry about actors getting old. An advantage that they evidently chose not to make use of here.

Not just the code, assets as well. Have a look at Damsel's character model, which is hilariously awful.

The challenge is in making character designs as realistic as afforded by the new engine, without sacrificing aesthetic values - i.e making ageless characters seem older and uglier than they need to be. It's always a choice of course, one that most (western) developers choose instead of more cartoonish designs, whenever possible.

You know, they can't just settle anymore for making women in games ugly, they have to make them repugnant.

I don't get why so many of you have an obsession with Damsel, IMO she looked weird and kind of goofy already in Bloodlines. But it's not just about the way she looked, is it. She represents the more "approachable" waifu, compared to knockouts like Jeannette or VV. Your fixation with her is sentimental.
