Hahah, BAHAHAH, you cannot postpone Doom, silly devs.
Ah, yes. The simple solution: Just add long long hair to your character model to make it male.Phyre (beta) male model:

Honestly that was my first thought, I'm starting to foresee a situation where Veilguard is a success not because it looks in any way good but because it's the only big RPG to release in Q4 2024.Smooth sailing for Veilguard!
The extra time gives us an opportunity to adjust certain areas, such as Fabien, and incorporate other community feedback.
Hm, we'll see how this goes.We will also use the time to expand the game’s story, and now Bloodlines 2 will have more than twice as many endings as its predecessor.
They at one point said they wouldn’t be surprised if it was released by Christmas of 2023.Didn't Paradox say that the game was definitely going to be released this year, that they chose TCR because they specifically wanted to avoid more delays, ala HSL? Lmao.
Expanding the game you can't even finish on time is a nice way to get even more delays.Hm, we'll see how this goes.
Oh they have info on the site that wasn't mentioned in the video

The complaining worked, Fabien's going to be less obnoxious.

I guess they at least watched some of those old "vampire detective" shows like Blood Ties, and got their inspiration for male Phyre (what a stupid fuckin' name) from there.
Didn't really succeed, but considering who's the project lead, I'm not surprised.
All they did was take the female model, make the face narrower, reduce the cheekbones, add a tan and long hair. Model looks to have the same height and build otherwise probably to save on animations.Somehow that male Phyre looks more effeminate than the male Toreador from Bloodlines. If they at least gave it broader shoulders and more bulk, then maybe it would be ok.
Gender neutral name of supposed Armenian origin.Have they ever explained the "Phyre" name?
AC Shadows releases in november. Does that count as an RPG?Honestly that was my first thought, I'm starting to foresee a situation where Veilguard is a success not because it looks in any way good but because it's the only big RPG to release in Q4 2024.Smooth sailing for Veilguard!
That was an hypothesis but no one from The Chinese Room has actually explained it.Gender neutral name of supposed Armenian origin.
