:hype:

Not even mad about it being TB, there's guns involved after all.

I will repeat that all trannies in Wrathfinder were because of Paizo, not Owlcat. There's no gays in 40k, so I doubt there will be here.

I'd....be careful with that assumption.

I saw a few of the Owlcat interviews and they have some people who totally look like Danger Hairs.

I'm hopeful that you're right. Not necessarily about gays, but in the sense that it's not exceptionally filled with identity politics.

I'd prefer Warhammer Fantasy, but a decent Rogue Trader cRPG is more than welcome.

So Below
GW has a long history of releasing only the highest quality gaming products set within the greater 40k universe, and works tirelessly to uphold the thematic integrity of the setting itself. Owlcat's spotless history of stable releases, dutiful bugfixing and substantial post-launch content support makes them the perfect studio to do this game justice.

Which means if you're smart, you'll pick this up a year after launch at a 50% discount

I mean there are definitely elements of that video that suggest they are going for some progressive themes.

GW is very careful with its IP's and give no licence when it comes to lore. Let's not forget they shut down fanfics not too long ago.

Unexpected, but welcome announcement. Recent turn of events in this thread indicates people don't know much about Rogue Trader, though.

Speaking of inclusion, there's one thing I'm still sad didn't make it to the final game. Remember the beardless dwarf merchant in the capital of the Stolen Lands? I planned to reveal later that she's a closeted trans woman, and give the player a side quest to get her a potion. Unfortunately, this bit of content got cut, so her story was left unfinished, a setup with no resolution. I'm glad that for Wrath we have better representation baked into the original module, but I still hope to one day, maybe in a later game, that dwarf could make a comeback, this time as a woman :)

there was supposed to be a quest where you went and got a tranny their hormones

The art style for animated parts in that trailer holy shit, thought I was watching Legend of Korra. Also the environments look too bright and not shitty/grimy enough to be 40K. But Warhammer fans will buy everything so there's no chance this will flop.

Dude Warhammer lore costantly contradicts itself

Ah yes 40k, known for its muted color palette
