As usual, it's the non-combat gameplay in Owlcat's games that concerns me. We know they have the build porn and combat pegged, but how will rogue trading play out? Astrogation? Good thing is, in this case, the rules are clearly defined in the tabletop books, so it's a matter of implementation, we'll see. Another minor concern is the asset reuse, it looks too much like their previous games, this needs some heavier shades and grittier tones.

All in all, more 40k in good developers' hands is a plus, and I love the Rogue Trader fantasy. They need to nail the writing, though. I'm cautiously optimistic.

That Horus Heresy stuff is irrelevant because that's not an example of GW retconning 40k's ground rules. That's why there still are no female space marines because there are actual lore reasons why only men can be turned into one. Besides all that, if anybody is making changes it's GW themselves and no one else. Judge the company by its track record though, in current year it is one of the few brands that has not bowed to the LGBT-mafia.

So, a Space Wolf marine, a psyker, an inquisitor, an Eldar ranger, and a navigator. Seems to have all their bases covered. I'm curious if there will be more of them, five companions in all seem severely lacking for a cRPG.
