Well it is just one third of one."More sidequests" would be a good stretchgoal. 30 hours playtime for an open world game is a bit on the short side.
I like the fact that there is no "extra side quest" stretch goal (so far) since it means that they gonna put everything in game as they originally planned, since when I see stretch goals which promises extra content and are not reached I feel like im gonna get shell of the game devs envisioned.

It's cute how the Codex still insists on the old buzzwords, like consolized, "console kids" and so on as potential problems that represents the biggest threats to new releases. Yeah this was all very funny and accurate in 2005-2012 and it's still entertaining to throw around at some discussions, but it's starting to feel outdated and retarded when you see it being used for real. Like, while we're at it, why don't we go around bashing the Atari Jaguar and the Virtual Boy as bad influences to our "monocle'd" games?
The story of the decline in gaming is the story of the Xbox. Before it, the main consoles and the PC coexisted in perfect harmony in an environment where both had awesome classics and great stuff of their own being released every year, without making the other suck. Quality in this industry is not a zero sum game. At least it wasn't. The first Xbox came and completely ruined the balance and the healthy environment that existed so far, because Microsoft is a retarded company that thought they should fuck every PC exclusive they could get their hands on and forcing a new scenario where stuff should be made for the PC and the Xbox, as a path to grow their console business without having to directly confront Sony's dominance at least for some time. They fucked the PC down to the skull until it was unrecognizable, while we also witnessed the PS2 getting quite shittier compared to the PSX. The next generation was pretty much the same shit, except now they also managed to fuck Sony to a sad state too, breaking dozens of exclusives and making it so that the standard of quality was shit like Halo and Gears of War. You can see how the PS3 is full of this kind of shit too.
Now we're starting to finally recover for good from the damage Microsoft has done to the industry, but it's just bullshit to keep going with the "hey it's consolized this sucks", because consoles aren't the source of decline (see 80's and 90's as proof); Microsoft style of building up the multiplatform haven is, and the way they took slices of the PC market to shove in their console.
Today, we're getting back to the point where, when a game is shit, it's because it's shit, not because they had to make it thinking about the limitations of consoles or the so called "console audience". If Kingdom Come sucks I bet there'll be apologists around saying it's bad because it was made with consoles also in mind, not because the devs fucked up. Yeah, just like Ultima IX was shit because it was made with consoles in mind, right?
The character is already meant to be a special snowflake destined to save the kingdom anyway, playing a chick could be the hard mode.The rest of the goals are total crap by the way.
Female character? Who wants to play as a female? Unless they provide you with the option to play as an assasin prostitute or a manipulating witch/alchemist it's pointless. Playing as a female warrior in a "realistic" medieval game and not getting mockery and sexual abuse as a reaction from the male warriors would be retarded.

Just make it FPS like M&B and have the RPG in the story choices and a few stats.You really should read the info on the Kickstarter page before coming to this brilliant conclusion. I doubt having eating requirements in the game, along with food spoilage, not to mention accurate weapon and armor relationships (warhammers vs plate armor, etc) is the way of consolized bullshit. Oh and also the small bit about multiple ways to do every quest and branching dialogue options, but I guess that doesn't cut it for edginess in a 3D game.

Playable Female Character: brace for SJW attack! And somewhat deservedly. There have been medieval women who pretended to be men and fought extensively.
So they were treated as men by NPCs; stick some boobs to PC model and you can have both wymynz and realism in game.

Just let the player specify if he's male or female, and keep the model the same. You play a woman disguised as man after all.
