Carnivore was an '80s thrash/punk band and had mostly post-apocalyptic lyrics,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCWsR-Qk8v4
+Thermonuclear Warrior/Ground Zero Brooklyn and others(except those about eating pussy etc.)

Wouldn't really fit as a theme, lol.

"A bomb hits the city - all life instantly vaporized,
but I'm not so fortunate burning right before my eyes,
stumbling I trip over pieces of descending flesh,
leaving a pile of smoldering humanoid mess,
radiation, coming in waves,
leading me to, a nuclear grave!"

Some other ideas, not sure about costs though.

Spoken comic book style (shorter than the below maybe), probably not much cheaper than 3D if I was to guess though.

For something cheaper, just use still screen shots and add naration (there must be some decent audiobook readers or voice actors out there who wouldn't cost the earth, also a chance to change the style from the Perlman voice overs).

 I thought about them too. Such nice tracks, "Male Supremacy", "Armageddon", "World Wars III and IV". They have a very fitting photo too.

I never see anyone mention Metallica when the subject of 80's metal bands comes up... probably because the greedy assholes would demand more than the cost of making the game.

Are we getting any updates soon? I swear, I feel kind of gypped. Especially compared to how frequent Eternity's getting them.

No, it's because it's like mentioning Star Wars when talking about scifi movies.

It's because Commiefornia is a union state. Being paid by Obama to vacation as much as possible, forestall the announcement of further incline.

....I sure hope that update is worth it and not just another talk about crowdsourcing models and stuff.

Anyone else tired of the whole "without you backers there would be no ...." spiel ? I mean at first everyone was excited including me, but to keep harping on it over and over makes it start to sound a bit disingenuous. Starting to sound like the very Man they want us to "stick it to."
