Missing control panel reported in Highpool (wasnt the panel just on that wall? cant remember).

So yeah there are a few bugs.

explained by Sear:
It was intentionally removed. You don't need to power the doors on/off anymore, we found the puzzle tedious nor especially fun, and it didn't work well with controllers.

so...anything else removed for the glory of the controller?

Sounds like it's a good thing that I can't access it on GOG right now (original kickstarter backer).

So the REAL release version hasn't been released YET?
Well, I'm waiting for the Codex Consensus anyway.

How mighty inclined codexers have fallen into being PR cunts, years of development, beta, pc release and never did they find the puzzle tedious, but lo and behold... Console release and it's now tedious and hard to do with controller... Hence it's also tedious for people who play with a mouse.

This is what happens when you pick the "raised in a circus" perk. No, it's not mentioned anywhere.

yes, it was mentioned on twitter or facebook

One of the things I hoped Director's cut would address was the camera angle when full zoomed out.
When zoomed out, the camera almost changes to a top down perspective and it sucks ass big time.
The camera angle when fully zoomed out would be nice to be at nearly the same angle when zoomed in.
Ideal would be the player too choose the angle value within certain parameters.

Would it be possible for someone to mod this option in?

Camera issue will be fixed "today" apparently.

Most problems I've had so far are recurring from the original version.

The cursor is unresponsive at times; the tooltips don't show or show partly, having to find a specific spot somewhere around the target (rather than on the target) to be able to attack, movement commands not always registering, interaction commands not always registering, et cetera.
Sometimes during combat the screen locks on position and there are some weird wallshadow anomalies when trying to move the screen but it goes away on its own at least when the scene is forced to center on enemies off screen.
And of course the camera controls are fucked; rotating the screen is sometimes smooth and most of the times clumsy and unresponsive.
Plus of course the zoom out is now inadequate.

Minor annoyances, all in all. But annoyances nonetheless.

Ok I'm relatively new to the Codex so I must get used to the fact that when there is a release, the relevant topic will initially get an influx of bitching and shitposting and the intensity of said bitching/shitposting will be higher from people that don't even play the game.

Hey all: update should be going out on Windows right about now, we'll have other OSes as soon as those builds are ready to go.

The cursor is unresponsive at times;

The only instance of that which I encountered in vanilla was when trying to move to a square that was obfuscated by terrain or objects in front of it. Is that what you mean? I hoped they would fix it in the DC...

That's still out there too, yes.

But on top of that I sometimes - not too often, but enough for me to pay notice - need to click a few times for the command to register. Happened mostly with movement but a couple of times with interactions and attacks too.

Kommissar's Impressions so far:

The Good:

+ New Paper Dolls look nice
+ Ranger Base looks like... Military Base not some ruined piece of wasteland
+ Asshole Trait.

The Bad:

- Dat Camera Man.
- You can't save your recruits during party creation.
- Game is running like shyte and crashes often when you quit her... thanks Unity!

The Ugly:

Its still 3D game.
