Game is running like shyte and crashes often when you quit

комиссар,

Reports from decadent Westerner pamphlets mention the existence of software that augments graphic card units. We believe it is responsible for the crashes you seem to be experiencing.
You are strongly advised to deactivate said product of capitalism, which as you know is corruptive and ethically abominate. We await for further communication;

Divinity: Original Sin 2 BattleTech Bubbles In Memoria A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. My team has the sexiest and deadliest waifus you can recruit. Pathfinder: Wrath
So.. about that patch. Is it out on GoG yet? Cause there is no patch showing under Directors Cut. Or do I have to apply the latest patch that shows under the regular W2?

What do you mean they "still" haven't fixed that? Did you have in the og? I never had that bug.

GOG is not lightning fast with their patches. They need to build it into their installer system and then test it before release. I'm not holding my breath on this, I'm OK with playing with a crap camera for today.

The upgraded graphics and improved maps are quite nice so far in addition to the imporved gameplay. A shame it did not come out like that earlier. Wish the Quirks were a bit more interesting but most of them seem far too punishing and do not give enough benefit. Best example would be Opportunist, for most of the fight it does nothing and when the enemy is in one shot range anyway you get more damage. At best interesting in a few selected fights but otherwise you deal 25% less damage.

How mighty inclined codexers have fallen into being PR cunts, years of development, beta, pc release and never did they find the puzzle tedious, but lo and behold... Console release and it's now tedious and hard to do with controller... Hence it's also tedious for people who play with a mouse.

I remember a lot of goons complaining about that part, and BN has an account there, so...

I'm trying Opportunist on this playthrough despite everyone talking about how bad it is. With so many characters, it makes sense to have some do the opening strikes and others do the "finishing". If it was a single-character game, obviously it would suck, but in a party-based game I think it can be a big advantage if used intelligently. We'll see I guess.

The quirks are a disappointment, they seem to be designed to provide additional challenge instead of interesting gameplay alternatives. With most of them the downsides are much more significant than the benefits.

I only took Brittle Bones for my sniper (+2 AP, -50% combat speed) and I hope I won't regret it bitterly. I was also considering the lightning strikes, just for the fuck of it, but decided against it. Had this feeling it could prove pretty annoying after a while.

The highpool maze/"puzzle" was lame and pointless. Except I suppose making you go through it down a member. But that could be accomplished with just a single switch and door.

I'm lazy so I'm not going to look this up on my own: Are there any serious changes to attributes I should be aware of? I always dumped Luck/Charisma as a rule pretty much except CHA for my "Leader" character. IIRC Luck was entirely worthless in the OG.

I hate these 'switch puzzles' where some switches close doors while opening others, forcing you to find the proper combo, but...
Temporarily losing a member was the fun part about this. It made me strategize about who I could afford to lose the most, move around some resources, etc etc (especially on Supreme Jerk). Let my guys with a secondary melee skill to due the dirty work while my sniper or extra AR ranger stayed behind to save ammo.

Too bad they couldn't leave that element in, but just make the doors open automatically when you approached them as your left-behind squad member makes the appropriate radio call-outs telling you what they're doing.

There were always rumours that Luck improves the loot.

I picked the quirk that gives -1 skill point before level 11 but +1 after 10, any other interesting/useful quirks?

Imho Twitchy is similar a long term Quirk. Middle to late game you should be able to easily compensate for the -10% penalty while getting a decent speed bonus but it really sucks early game when most of your recruits have around 40% to 60% hit chance depending on the enemy. It is of course mostly interesting for melee characters.

I would say that the trait which improves healing by 25% is also nice maybe but I have to test out if that character can heal her or himself at least.

That curse quirk with -2 and +2 to all attributes should be nice as well, you just have to level up every two levels instead of every level. Probably best used on a max Int and max Char character to help that character a bit with combat since most of that characters other attributes are between 1-4 and since he or she levels so fast should have no problem with it.
