Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Codex Year of the Donut Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
True, yet that still doesn't keep me from temptation in making optimal builds in which pistols will always be passed over unless i want to me a masochist for no good reason.

Yeesh, I just randomly picked this because i couldn't import my own avatar. Still, i can't help but feel like the other guy should change avatars tho, try on something new and what not.

Pick another random one then.

If someone has the time to check some of the balance changes and give us some numbers, I would appreciate it(something to read at work :P )

I must be one of the lucky few, who never had ANY of the problems in this patch fix..

I like the balance changes, though. Looks good.

The memory leak is fixed by saving, exist the game, and restart. Takes 1 min, and you are g ood to go.

Turning shadows off helps a lot too apparently

IMO, it all comes down to what you use them for. As has been noted before, pistols are useful for mopping up, or as a secondary weapon e.g. for your snipers.
Also at least up to Ranger difficulty (haven't played on SJ), the game is not that difficult that you need highly optimized combat builds to succeed.
In other words, if the game can be played comfortably with non-optimal builds, I don't have problems with choices that reduce my damage output a bit in return for increasing flexibility with ammo use or combat tactics.
Then again, I anyway usually don't see the need for optimized power-gaming builds, so ymmv.

Not everyone has a SSD. It is not 1 minute for me.

  • Reduced the effects of Disparnumerophobia to +1/-1 to Attributes.
This is some :balance: level of balancing. All those people that gave their characters 6 Int hoping to have it at 8 every 2 levels are going to be so mad now LOL

Then upgrade your poor 3rd world PC.

SSDs cost nothing now. You get literally thrown one into your face when you exist an electronics store. lel.

But of course poorfags can't into money

SSD with enough storage to put all my games on and windows cost a lot. Also it would mean I have to reinstall windows and CBA to do that when it works well.

Also not everyone was born into wealthy countries and now are preaching to others to "eat cake". Goo shoot yourself and when you are incarnated somewhere poor let see how you feel then idiot.

Where you live bro, Africa? I'm sorry you were born into poverty, but still you have time and ressources to sit on this internet forum? ;-x

You could buy a smaller SSD for the only the games you play and your windows.

Rest games you could have on mechanical HD, and then xfer stuff over or delete, when y ou dont need it. Who uses ssds for storage anyway ;b

Divinity: Original Sin 2 Pathfinder: Kingmaker Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
I don't find the memory leak that annoying even with a traditional HDD. Starting the game and loading the save takes at most 1 minute.

Disabling shadows helped a bit, I went from crashes every 10 minutes in Ag Center to crashes every hour. On the other side, I read on the inxile forums that Ag Center tends to crash more often and that's were I was playing at the time.

No need for a SSD, except maybe if you try Pillars of Eternity or Serpent in the Staglands.

Guys where the fuck is the playground in the topekan camp? I resqued ralphy, and when asked if i want to take him in my group i said yes and instantly dismissed him because i didnt want the npc bug to occur. He then said he will be at the playground and ran off, now im looking for this fucking playground since like 20 minutes and i cant find it. Is there even one? Did i/the game fuck up and now i cant get ralphy in the group?

Ill take the hobo then i guess, but his int is so low...

Edit: Okay so i took the hobo in, he was literally 3 seconds in my team and already stole my booze. Next!

Playground is right next to the entrance to the Topekan camp, I think - you follow the road to enter the camp or take a right turn to the playground.

If someone has the time to check some of the balance changes and give us some numbers, I would appreciate it(something to read at work :P )

Here's what I could find (all old values are subject to what I recall):
  • Increased the effects of Manic Depressive to +2/-2 to Attributes, to make it a bit more compelling to select. (was +1/-1?)
  • Reduced the effects of Disparnumerophobia to +1/-1 to Attributes. (was +2/-2)
  • Increased the Applied Force line of Perks slightly. (now +5% per perk, up from 4%?)
  • Increased time range for Animal Husbandry effects to take place.
  • Increased Tactical Positioning damage bonus slightly. (now 25%, up from 15%)
  • Increased the Whack-a-Mole bonus to Chance to Hit slightly. (now 15%, up from 10%)
  • Increased the Bomberman bonus to Area of Effect range slightly. (now 20%, up from 15%?)
  • Increased the Long Arm bonus to Throw Distance range slightly. (now 15%, up from 10%?)
  • Increased the Loose Change drop chance slightly.
  • Increased the bonus granted by Intimidating, Affable and Know-it-All, to make them more compelling to select. (now +2, up from +1)
  • Reduced the Improvised Explosives salvage chance slightly. (now 15%, was 25%)
  • Removed Friendly Fire chance from Master Hunter entirely. (used to be 25% chance?)
  • Fixed Bandit line of Perks to no longer affect Submachine Guns.
  • Increased the Bandit line of Perks bonus attack chance. (now +4% per perk, up from 2%)
  • Opportunist now shows the correct bonus damage. The text was previously incorrect.
  • Increased the effective range of Opportunist bonus damage slightly.
  • Increased Big Game Hunter and Roboticist bonus damage. (now 20% on each, formerly 10%)
  • Updated the Alarm Disarming line of Perks, Ghost and Quick Reflexes. Ghost is now placed at a lower skill requirement and Quick Reflexes now grants permanent bonus Evasion. This should make them more compelling to take.
  • Removed Conductive flag from Goat Hide Armor, since it's not made out of metal.
  • Improved some old unique weapons so that they are more worthwhile to use.
  • Removed an erroneous 1.2x Field Medic skill multiplier on Mysophobic. The flat bonus healing effects still remain as described.

Already found him, but thanks. I always ran past him because for some reason his name is not shown in the tooltip and i cant even talk to him. Seems like i have discovered a new npc bug ;)

Any tips where i could find passable companions (with int4+)? Im currently lvl 15 and in titan valley, dont wanna waste precious exp on guys like that hobo dude and the chinese blademaster with int 2.

Pizepi is up in Darwin Village, but you need like 22 CHA across your party to recruit her (spiked collars can help if you have a couple). She pretty heavily invested in energy weapons, perception, and smart ass, if any of those are useful to your party composition. You also need fairly high access skills (comp sci, lockpick, etc) to get around inside and either good explosives and perception or extra dynamite to take care of some traps. The enemies in the area are also serious bullet sponges, but I cleared my way through at level 10 on SJ, so it's not impossibly hard -- just bring extra ammo.

Doesn't matter. Temporary buffs never affected skill point gains anyway.

I am sad they weren't able to recode it to prevent the exploit of all benefit, no drawback, but eh, glad it was nerfed at least.

Kickstarter update for the patch: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/inxile/wasteland-2/posts/1405365

Today we are happy to release the first major update for Wasteland 2: Director's Cut on PC. This update is available on Steam right now, and will be rolling out to other stores such as GOG.com in the next day or two. This release brings a number of bug fixes, balance improvements, and new features in the form of official Steam Controller support (Steam only) and Turkish localization thanks to our fan community.

If you picked the game up on consoles, then note that the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the update have been sent to Microsoft and Sony, and are currently going through the certification and approvals processes on both platforms. We will be releasing on both consoles as soon as we are able.

So consoles don't have them yet. Your superiority has been preserved, Master Race.

Some nice fixes there, kudos for the portrait camera fix
Now how about adding some simple customizing options for characters like the female only gasmasks and sunglasses? I really want to have Stalker style character for my next run
