HI EVERYBODY WOOOOOOOO HELL YES THREAD
I know only maybe ~10% of you care about me going to the Wasteland 2 Release Party(tm), so I will just post some of my favorite of the few pictures I took and that will be the end of it, unless you really need to know how awesome Mark Morgan is in person (answer: every person I met at the party was awesome so he was no exception)
THE PARTY! Dude, check out the cotton candy.
Mark Morgan! Yay! Chris Keenan! Yay!

I spent part of the night being entertained by people hitting on my friend/date Tami. Particularly when someone would ask what she did and she would explain she was a chemical engineer and they would be like "oh, uhhh ... you must be smart!"
This is John; I told him I had to get a picture with him because nobody's face calls to mind the hilarious Kickstarter pitch video better for me than him (well maybe the 10-year-old publisher but he was not there). Then John won the mechanical bull competition because apparently he is the company's resident badass also. And I will never take a better picture of someone riding a mechanical bull.
I have a non-blurry picture with Chris Avellone but he is not giving a thumbs-up there so why would I post that one?!?!
A few people upon learning who I was told me that they were excited to meet me(!?), because they had seen how I put my 100% complete faith in this game from the get-go and tried to push it literally every way I could think to do. So that was pretty awesome. Particularly as I did not even know who a couple of those people were.
Chris Keenan literally said he was "a little bit star-struck" to actually meet me after all this nonsense, which was equally awesome and obviously totally unexpected. Oh and Chris Avellone and I are best friends now.
The cotton candy was very good.
One of the programmers (Ben) told me his favorite complaint so far has been that it is completely unacceptable that there is a way to end the game by pushing a button and that this must be fixed.
Oh and I met one of the guys RPGCodex sent on behalf of their forum's $10,000 donation, and he was pretty cool. I will link to his write-up (as he was doing INTERVIEWS!) if I actually ever find it, haha.
OH AND some of the designer/programmers I was talking to were skeptical when I told them Brian Fargo had told me that he personally designed me and put me in the game, but Chris Keenan confirmed that he saw the early documents and it was indeed all Mr. Fargo's doing. That was pretty cool.
OK thanks! ONE POST-APOCALYPSE LOVE
