I am so jealous of your Team Echo.. I can see them bringing great change to the wasteland.

Right ... but they were using all fully rendered 3D assets anyway. With 2D art the buildings don't have backs, because why draw the backs? But since they were using 3D assets from the Unity store, everything was viewable from every angle before it was even placed, so they figured, what the hell, why lock this camera.Well it's more than that. Like Reject said, with 3d camera you also need good assets and levels for it to work.but then they discovered it wouldn't cost anything to just unlock the x-axis and let the user spin it to taste.

As for level design, I can't comment on that except to say that it seems cool to me. I haven't tried to navigate without moving the camera, nor would I care to. I do know that originally they were designing for fixed camera, but I imagine that went out the window pretty quick when they unlocked it.

from the angle you enter levels or buildings.. so if you never move your camera.. you will miss a lot of items and even cave entrances.

Does Rose stick with you for good or something? I thought she would return to Ag after leaving but nope.
So, is it good?

The battle after releasing the dude's pigs from the farm is really cool. Got my sniper onto a rooftop, melee fighters waiting at the corners of buildings to ambush people and my two assault rifle people in positions that allowed them to cover the entire farm. First time combat actually felt tactical rather than just frantic.
I didn't find any bugs in about 5 hours of play yesterday. Load times are kind of slow, that's about it.By the way, on a scale of 0 to Obsidian, how do you people rate bugginess of the game right now? I want to try it out, but thinking of waiting until some patches are in.
Novella completed.
It's HHR-bait. It's an anti-televangelist/organized religion story written by a smug atheist (was completely unsurprised by the author's picture in the back), which is odd considering how televangelists rose and fell in the 80s and the one in this story made it big until the mid-late 90s somehow. It's an aspect that isn't relevant today, so this story ends up feeling like something that would have been written/published in the 80s/early 90s.
Lesi would hate it too considering its depiction of women, one Asian woman in particular (why is this gross person the only one whose non-whiteness is explicitly defined..?) , and its particularly absurd handling of mental illness (though tbh every person in this book is awful). It's also obviously written from a (fauxgressive) white heterosexual male perspective.
The climax/ending is ham-handed and keeps stretching credibility again and again and again. He had a particular ending in mind and damn anything that would stop it from happening.
I can't believe inXile is charging $10 for this. I wouldn't pay anything for it, even though technically I already did.
