I have a hunch that the "studio" that he's founding (if that's really what he asked a name for) at this point may be more like a brand name that he's adopting for his personal endeavours. "Wasteland 3, developed in association with Chris Avellone's Puzzlewell Studios."He's founding his own studio and has hinted that he wants to lead a project again.
He's said that he can't work full-time on a game until his family issues are resolved.
Coincidentally, the thread about the cancelled inXile Gamescom interview was removed. Is that supposed to be a reason not to do it?After all the drama on Inxile, the Codex must be tagged as the laughing stock of the internet if we make another fundraiser for that studio.
Where are you getting this from? What did I miss?
LOL! Is that real? What a punch of pussies! If you fucked up Codex, at least stick to your fuckup.Coincidentally, the thread about the cancelled inXile Gamescom interview was removed. Is that supposed to be a reason not to do it?After all the drama on Inxile, the Codex must be tagged as the laughing stock of the internet if we make another fundraiser for that studio.

Cool! Could we have that razer kind of in-game monolith?LOL! Is that real? What a punch of pussies! It was removed to restore cooperation with inXile in time for our crowdfunding campaign.

I played D:OS with my wife every day after work. She's also classic RPG fan. So it's really welcome feature for us.Are there really a lot of people out there who can play RPGs together, when this is the most time consuming genre? Or do the just drop in for an hour and drop out? Sorry, but I'm not playing games like that.
Well having a gamer significant other is a huge adventage, but apart from that, it is difficult to pull a party together.I played D:OS with my wife every day after work. She's also classic RPG fan. The lack of modding support is the first instance of an outright cut feature compared to WL2: DC. Wonder how many more there will be.
At this point he doesn't care about his core clientele that helped him found Wasteland 2. He showed that many times already by developing console versions, shitting on the Codex and bullying small indie studios by sending them C&D letters but now he can afford to do so because he has the resources and apologists like you J_C . He wanted to add MP and social shit earlier but had to drop it because his core clientele didn't like it, now he's doing it again but this time we're too small of a group compared to his whole clientele.
BF: We'll be using a modified and updated version of the Wasteland 2 engine, which will provide a significant visual upgrade from Wasteland 2. Unity has come a long way since we first started using it and we've just gotten better at using it. Additionally, we’re utilizing the Pillars of Eternity conversation editor again, which is the same we used in Torment, which allows our writers to quickly mock-up and step through branching conversations.
That said, we’re still focused on the single-player experience, the multiplayer builds upon it but does not replace the experience, so if you want to play it much like you did Wasteland 2, you absolutely can.
One thing we're looking to do better is to dial up the reactivity even more and have more wide-scale decisions. We had a fair number of those in Wasteland 2 but the fans wanted even more of those life-or-death world-changing choices, and so we want to make sure we capture that. This’ll be supported by a more reactive central hub, and tied to it the Ranger Base that will be part of your story and narrative decision, though not a base you’ll be micro-managing throughout the game. On the more mechanical side we're making combat more tactical, faster and adding more depth. Vehicles are part of that, as are combat skills your Ranger team will have to manipulate the battlefield.
They went full DivinityinXile said to expect vehicles, environmental dangers and a revamped, more fluid action system
As for the vehicles, your ranger uses an upgradeable vehicle for travel. You can use it to store goods, explore and survive. You can even use it as cover in combat.
Also very interesting is that inXile has been working on the project with Nic and Chris Bischoff, the main guys at Stasis studio The Brotherhood, who created the "prototype screens" seen below. "We’re big fans of STASIS and we know the Brotherhood have a great talent for isometric games. It was a no-brainer to have our team collaborate with them for prototype content for Wasteland 3," Fargo explained. "We’ll continue to work with them as we move into full production, their artistic insights and inspirations have been helpful throughout this process."

Now the question is if this means they will actually be truly involved or is it MCA "I design 1-2 NPCs where both then get cut in half" kind of involvement. Some more details on the involvement of the Stasis guys:
