I was replaying Max Payne recently... got past the cargo ship at the docks and stopped for a while. Still an epic game though, the music and writing is still some of the best out there despite years and years of supposed progress.

I played Fallout New Vegas again from start to finish as a "might makes right" asshole. He ended up falling for Veronica when he met her and then became the Brotherhood of Steel's bitch. When Mr. House and Caesar asked him to destroy the Brotherhood he went rogue and used Yes Man to get the independent ending. Good stuff.

Right now I am playing Dead Space 2, which is really, really good, and (gulp) Oblivion. The Skyrim announcement got me to finally reinstall Oblivion for the first time since the time it came out and give it another go. I am using Francesco's mod and it does make the leveling less annoying and the combat harder and more interesting. Shame the RPG elements are still non-existent.

Just finished up Dead Rising 2. Good fun, though muuuuch easier than the first one. Decent port, optimization-wise too. Don't get me started on only supporting 360 gamepads though. Thank god for the wrapper programs.

It's even worse when you're climbing up a ladder to get through your tunnel to the surface, only to have a friend mine a hole in your tunnel and dump a bucket of lava on you so you lose all those resources which you were carrying which was everything you owned and it's all gone, ALL GONE. FUCK.
