What game are you wasting time on?

Started M&M3 a few days ago. I'm in Castle Whiteshield looting chests and killing all the guards that come running, and yet the king is still my bro.
WHERE'S MAH IMMERSION AND C&C

The dungeon under the castle looks pretty tough at this point so I'm going to venture into one of the dungeons in the outdoors area first.

Choice and consequence is for storyfags, don't worry about it.

MM3 rocks. I found the guards to be a lot harder than the dungeon under the castle though, at least when I first met them.

I was joking and channeling dicksmoker :P And yes, the game rocks. I had only played M&M6, and I like 3's grid-based 2D graphics better than 6's ugly 3D. Also, any game with enemies like wild fungi charging at you is cool in my book. Giant mushrooms overrunning the countryside aaaaahhhh

Shit was not so cash as I hoped it would be (Looking Glass and stuffies). Still, solid title.
Moving on to Descent 3, SMT1, Crash Bandicoot 3 and Tomb Raider 3.

The Saboteur :haters gonna hate:

Very fun if you don't take it too seriously. Great atmosphere and art style, entertaining European stereotypes, relatively open-ended gameplay. Having fun trying to stealth it one Very Hard (ot Feckin' Hard, as the game calls it) with the half-assed stealth and disguise mechanics.

Popamole :incline:, imo

MoM with the latest fan patch. Dosbox curiously starts crashing after about half an hour of play though, and I never managed to get the animations running fluidly. There's always a bit of lag even with 10000 cycles. Still, I'm amazed about how good the game's interface is, considering the time it came out. IMO this is the key factor that makes the game playable after all these years.

Replaying Geneforge 1 as a Shaper. I just reached Kazg. I'm not sure what faction I'll go for, but I've never tried Taker, so maybe I'll go fuck up some Obeyers.

I never played the first one. I heard it's much lighter on C&C than the later games in the series, and of course it has the older graphics. Still worth playing?

It has excellent exploration and a great atmosphere and story, so yeah, I'd say go for it. It doesn't have as much C&C, but it's still pretty good. It's also (IMO) the most balanced out of the series.

I like the succession of Doomguy faces; one A-OK, the other one pissing blood and grinning like a maniac

Nostalgia has just made me spend more than an hour trying to get Basilisk II (a mac emulator) to work properly. I wanted to be able to play Shadowwraith, a Mac-only shoot'em-up (yes, there is such a thing). It was released in 96 ; I'd only played the demo, but I'd rather liked it, especially the soundtrack.

I was on the verge of giving up when I finally got the fucking thing to work properly, after which I spent another hour or two playing the game. Pretty fun, but shoot'em up being the repetitive game that they are, I'm already bored with it.

The soundtrack is very nice, though : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3neS1fZL ... re=related

Just finished MotB for the first time. Probably last. The story and characters are great, but I just can't be bothered to tackle once again NWN2 engine.

Now I'll continue with Dark MessiahM&M or DD2 addon or Drakensang 2 or start for the first time Freespace 2 . Don't know what to do...choices, choices and so little time.

You should replay it at least once to get the über-evil ending. It's really worth it !

Well I planned to do so. I've picked the most lawfull-good choices I could with a second playthrough in mind, but the engine kills me.

I'll give it a try in a few months.

Still DoW: Soulstorm. It's got some nice units. Got DoW 2 because it was cheap as shit, but eh, what the fuck is this shit? It's like watching a movie with some interaction, like calling out to a popcorn salesman between the aisles in a movie theater. No really, what the fuck happened this time Relic? It's like taking the good shit from CoH and then somehow managing with the feat of making it shitty consolitis diseased shit, and it's not even a cross platform release. And although it was previously pretty close to Warhammer lore, now it just feels retarded with Hollywood style heroes and pretty lame VO. And what is this retarded campaign shit? I can't play as ORKS? WHAT? Fuck multiplayer. Add to that, some equally retarded windows live shit it wants to install. FUCK YOU. Seriously, what the fuck. I fear for gaming. Shitty releases, no surprises there. Bullshit bloat and DLC bots in the program? Fuck no. I guess it had promise somewhere, but uuuuuuugh this whole get the upgraded weapons shit just seems so fucking immaturely done. Like some IGN retard reviewer calling it RPG influenced because there are levels and LOOT. Oh wow.

Playing GTR2 for a week and a half now. Moved to semi-pro

The only helpers I use now are stability control (because it is impossible to feel the car with a gamepad and do very precise steering, acceleration and braking like you would with a steering wheel and pedals), traction control (high) and ABS (low - so I could drift a bit in corners).

Arkham Asylum. Holy fuck, this game right here. I've had it on my steam account uninstalled for a long time now, but I had no idea just what I was missing.
