I'm very into cock and ball torture
Could someone recommend a game that I could play for 10-15 minutes and feel completely content and satisfied, without any need to keep playing until after a day or two? Nowadays I can't get into games that take too much time, but I still would like to play something occasionally.
Try Breach & Clear.

A level usually doesn't take that long. I sometimes play for 40 minutes and sometimes only 15 minutes, all depending on my mood.
Or Kingdom of Dragon Pass. It's compact enough you can realize situation and your old intention from loading a save. It's quick enough you can accomplish something in 15 minutes: a heroquest, a major recon effort, a sending caravan....

KoDP may be a good option on a tablet while travelling, but it's also way too addictive to stop playing after 15 min - you can't really accomplish anything in such short time. It often takes multiple seasons to see results of your actions.

15 min should be enough for a Heroquest, which mean you now got some extra magic, or boost on your character(s), or some godly item in your inventory which could be very helpful in future activities.

Or you have just survive a season of several raids into your territory, which is nothing to sneer about. Earth must be fed, and your land is soaked in enemies' blood. Bumper crop!!!

Or you have just send away a good force of thanes to recon new lands, weaken your defense in next season, so you tremble in time.

15min is short, but intense for a KoDP game.

Tried to play Chasm: The Rift, but on "full juice" it makes DOSBox crash, and on slower speeds it's just too wobbly and makes me seasick. Also, the primitive 2.5 engine is a visual rip-off of Quake 1, which is a double turn off for me.

Unless Warlords III: Reign of Heroes is any good and I can find a copy (it's not on GOG), my next game will be a game called Fallout which I've heard good things about, despite it being a Bethesda game.

One does not simply say "fuck Cliff Racers". Those beauties are going to harrass your character from early game to end game where ever you go, everywhere outside of cities.

Morrowind is awesome until you have played through most of it and realise that everywhere is pretty much the same, and the "awesome exploration" thing is just bullshit (at least as far as overworld map is concerned). Then you grow tired of the main quest making you travel all over the place forever harassed by Cliff Racers and you give up.

I completed Morrowind but thought it was kinda lame. It is the best Elder Scrolls game though. I only completed it because the mage questline was cool and I like making spells, shame it was a broken mechanic that they later just ditched.

I didn't spent a lot of time on it but from my memory it was fun. I think it also has decent local multiplayer.

I finally managed to beat Space Quest after 3 months. I enjoyed the game, it's funny and cool and, if I don't particularly like dead-ends, instant deaths on the other hand are really fun.
It's the first "Quest" game I've ever completed and it is not intuitive at the beginning that everything you do may be slowly bringing you into a dead-end (unlike Future Wars where you can miss items but I can't remember any false solution).

Then I decided to give Day of the Tentacle a go. I completed it in two sessions, the game is pure gold, totally not overrated, it's very funny and the time-travel-based gameplay is really cool.

I'm also still fighting with Revenge of the Coconard. The game is very short but I can't figure out what I must do. I found the evil sorcerer who is executing a summoning ritual in a room full of roaming chickens and the talking skull cannot help me.

I think I'll pass on it.
Takes forever to download from the one place I found a free copy of the full game, but being an early Windows game it's hard to get to run on modern systems.
Also, I didn't like Warlords 1 and 2, since I'll probably nok like this one either.

Mix between Dragon Quest and Minecraft that don't feel like early access game and is surprisingly fun to play. Also unlike minecraft there is actual story, npcs, quests, minidungeons with worthwile rewards, sidequests and so on.
Aside from that every now and then you have horde to fend off so keeping your town secure is actual need.

Finished only chapter 1 but game is hella fun

i have that FEEL right now.

CURRENT MAIN QUEST: VIVEC find 3 assholes in this maze. GOOD LUCK
:0-13:

I liked the early exploration but I've learned that the Fargoth thing was the only REAL quest. and the intro cave is p much as good as it gets I suppose. random loot also.

Ultima 7 - The Black Gate.

The usual opinion. Stellar world and attention to detail, maybe the best ever. Idiotic, unsatisfying combat. Major smh on that. Feels like an adventure game at times, which I like. Like how it starts as a murder mystery. If this had Knights of the Chalice combat, I'd probably consider it the greatest CRPG. Hell if it had Ultima 4 or 5 combat at least, I would feel that way. Started this game 3 times but never got past the mining town. A lot of charm. They don't make 'em like this anymore. Will play to the end this time, and Serpent's Isle.

Dark Souls 2, second playthrough

I don't know what game the haters played, but game is as awesome as the previous one. You get your money's worth. Having a blast. Strength build. Bell Gargoyles are kind of bullshitty and not very fun fight, but I have no complaints otherwise. Maybe the expansion of stats was unnecessary, but it's not a big deal.

I thought a good portion of the locations in DaS1 were lackluster or poor, and sometimes silly for a game with Dark in the title. Each game has it's strengths and weaknesses that put them on level playing field. The boss fights aren't great, I agree.

Finally completed Invisible Wars. I keep my previous opinions. This is a decent game with lots of negativity thrown against it, but it still feels more like a "natural" Deus Ex game in comparison to Human Revolution.

The final level is Liberty Island and it keeps the same layout but divided in 2. Everything is in ruins as well. Unatco HQ is still there but occupied by bums. You'll find a ticket for a skull gun and a pair of hobos who just can't get the correct soda out of the machine. They wonder if people left Unatco because of those faulty machines...

There's no real boss fight at the end. I took the merge ending and you just go to the Statue and press a button. Feels underwhelming, but considering how combat tends to be in DE games I think it's for the best. The othr factions just.... leave, though. And if you side with JC you have ayy lmaos on your side.

Took me 9 1/2 hrs to beat it. It's that short. And I did most of the missions I could do...The "real" point of no return happens when you go back to Cairo and decide what to do with the Illuminati.

Most of the characters from the previous games return and they are mostly in character, never got anything out of the ordinary. JCD really took his Jesus role way too seriously.

I'd rate the games as follows:

DE1: 5/5
DE2: 3.5/5
DE3: 3

Decided to give Resident Evil 5 DLC Untold Stories a try, price was 14 or 15 € in Steam.

There are two missions in this DLC, first one Lost in Nightmares deals with some of the back story and is attempt in horror. It's short and doesn't have that much to do. Overall it felt more like a nostalgia piece than anything else.

Second one, Desperate Escape connects to campaign of RE5 and tells what certain characters are doing while main protagonists are involved with events of main campaign. This is actually pretty good. It's long enough, and even map is divided to 4 segments, they are good enough for their purpose. Especially second segment was great. I don't have much experience of 3rd person shooters, but in comparison to ME1 and ME2 this is how it should be done. Map design gives different options to player, there are enemies, lot of enemies, but there's also enough ammo available that if player is at least somehow accurate with his aim combat stays on fast gear.

I give special mention to cinematic sequence in the end. It's much more blatantly tongue in cheek than certain things in main campaign, but in a good way.

I guess added multiplayer features were why this DLC was so pricey. I didn't test MP features for mere reason that MP (not surprisingly for game this old) appears to be dead. So all value there is are in those two single player missions. For that reason, even second mission is fun, I can't recommend this for it's current price. Get this when it's get for sale, say 5 - 10 € max.

I replayed Resident Evil remake, this time as Jill and oh boy is the game better. I still think that the whole one item per square inventory is poorly designed, but it works better with Jill than Chris.
I am generally impressed by the game the more I played it. The level design is pretty good and I was really surprised that zombies wake back up if you don't burn them or headshot them. I still think the combat isn't as good as RE4, and having to stab a zombie about 16 times to kill them is retarded.

I'm dipping in and out of Metroid prime. It certainly is a fun game, but I finally made up my mind to play the Gamecube instead of the Wii version.

I played Shadow of the colossus. It certainly is one of the games I would consider Art and it focuses on gameplay. It is fun, but the boss fights can be weird. Some of these later bosses have to be defeated in ways I wouldn't have thought about.

After wasting time with popamole and a MMO, decide to have something of more inclined tastes to make me less depressed.

After hearing the hype of some codexers about NWN modules, decided to play a few, as nobody seems to talk much about them... if developers are hopeless, can modders save us? Let's check that out with Swordflight.

Some people said Swordflight was one of the best modules for NWN, especially concerning skill checks and roleplay opportunities and I decided to take a shot, played very little so far but this is the very first quest for people that are interested to know if it is interesting, read bellow:

nwmain%202016-10-21%2014-39-28-52_zpsmgs8jygy.jpg

Ahh, NWN, its been a long time I played you, let's start a new game.
nwmain%202016-10-21%2014-40-03-94_zpsvuc7fbvw.jpg

Swordflight has three chapters, first chapter goes from level 01 to 03, will play on hardcore rules.
nwmain%202016-10-21%2015-00-50-04_zps7niqrcss.jpg

Hey... my first character, a paladin wants to make the world a better place.
nwmain%202016-10-21%2015-02-08-98_zpsz0wxfdy8.jpg

As you can expect, standard RPG tavern, a little too big and not with enough decoration on my opinion but this is a mod, polish isn't priority number one.
nwmain%202016-10-21%2015-04-06-40_zps1h88i3em.jpg

Yep, I want some gold dude, gimme some quests for me to grind XP, some shitty things to kill for XP, we all know this is how RPGs work. We grind for levels, that is it, expecting more is to wait for the perfect RPG, that won't happen, we need to be realists and excuse our developer senpais as much as we can like good little fanbots.
nwmain%202016-10-21%2015-05-12-41_zpsczkbz7qo.jpg

Well, I agree with my character there... but that is free XP anyway. Here we come, grind some rats for quick and easy XP, that is how the pros do.
nwmain%202016-10-21%2015-05-59-98_zpsurpwuouy.jpg

Hey, I forgot I'm a might Misogeny paladin, this task is beneath me so option number 02.
nwmain%202016-10-21%2015-06-22-41_zpsscuhwgm1.jpg

Hey, this game really takes answers seriously, I mean, if you are an arrogant prick, you are not necessarily evil maybe just a douche.
nwmain%202016-10-21%2015-09-58-44_zpsg7c0hx9x.jpg

Common rats, I'm PUMPED, gonna get your sweet ass XP, this will be over quick, afterall, if professional developers are so lazy to not have alternate quest solutions, imagine modders working for free?
nwmain%202016-10-21%2015-10-25-43_zpszs1hbwnx.jpg

Wot? Me? Evil for stealing? I'm a paladin that wants to bring Misogeny to the world dude, there is no time for this stuff of private property, this is for losers. Why I'm playing as a PALADIN gonna be punished for STEALING? This is so last century, this modder guy must know the new modern design philosophy of allowing the player to do whatever he wants, why can't I play as a paladin/thief? That is not fair, it is not balanced.
nwmain%202016-10-21%2015-11-23-89_zpsivkyc9kh.jpg

HHHHHrrrrr, gonna kill this rat to get XP and improve my DPS right now! Wot? It didn't attack me? There must be some broken script there, gonna attack it and get some nice XP.
nwmain%202016-10-21%2015-14-58-84_zpsa0fhrvpl.jpg

Oops, four rats surrounded me and I died after a few unlucky misses... fuck, forgotten to save... what is this? Water lady saved my ass? Ominous... she says she will save me from death 30 times and I lose XP if I die, after some mumblings of ominous future things, I ask if I'm a special chosen one... before I start teaching the water lady of the virtues of misogeny, however, she explains to me that I'm actually the shitty messenger that nobody remembers that will warn the real special dude of the evil shit that is happening. Because of this, I'm special before I meet the chosen one, some kind of Morpheus dude but less cool and that is why she saves my ass... guess that makes sense.
nwmain%202016-10-21%2015-22-06-85_zpshnnryai7.jpg

After returning from the elemental plane and killing some more rats, I find the real reason why the innkeeper had such trouble getting rid of the rats, there is a wererat that came from the sewer and made the basement a safe place to hide, plus, Wagu is kinda crazy too.
nwmain%202016-10-21%2015-22-30-43_zpsavjqy9d6.jpg

Guess I and Wagu have some conflicting agendas here, time for killing him for some sweet easy XP.
nwmain%202016-10-21%2015-23-18-93_zpsepfp9h3w.jpg

Hey, the only way to convince him peacefully is to intimidate him or bluff, nah, not my strong suits, we all know when NPCs say that you can't even scratch them, that is mostly bullshit right? No developer would allow a NPC to kill you at level one right? What the casuals would think?Lets attack him and get the XP.
nwmain%202016-10-21%2015-14-45-30_zps9wmsn2ne.jpg

Ehhhh... guess Wagu wasn't kidding my weapon couldn't do shit to him and he pretty much sent me again to meet the water lady. Did the only option I had... ran with my tail between the legs.
nwmain%202016-10-21%2015-37-25-71_zpst4rwfcvb.jpg

Explained the delicate situation to the Innkeeper.
nwmain%202016-10-21%2015-37-42-81_zpsv2nvnqll.jpg

He hires me again to kill it but paying the same, the bastard.
nwmain%202016-10-21%2015-38-12-16_zps269lnwik.jpg

Hmm... some silver dagger or potion to cure his madness? Because I want to wake his poor white knight wererat from his illusion and take him out of his basement, I take the peaceful approach.
nwmain%202016-10-21%2014-39-28-52_zpsmgs8jygy.jpg
[/IMG]
nwmain%202016-10-21%2015-40-13-40_zpsifaghgmg.jpg

Well, I'm very diplomatic, let's see how things turn out...
nwmain%202016-10-21%2015-40-32-88_zps2mibt2io.jpg

I get a +1 shift on aligment from turning this wererat red pill, wasn't this aligment thing more of a ceremonial things that all RPG developers include but never respect?
nwmain%202016-10-21%2017-08-57-53_zpsa2mvtsbo.jpg

Just for curiousness, made a druid with animal emphaty later to see what would happen.
nwmain%202016-10-21%2017-14-40-61_zpsabs5trqx.jpg

Rat diplomacy at work, it is totally possible to not kill rats on this game.

Dragon Quest Builders. The developers took an autism magnet Minecraft and turned it into an actual game. Nearly finished with Chapter 2.
