That crpg that was posted a time ago on the codex, called 'icy' probably has the most retarded name I have seen in a computer game.

why isn't Witcher in the list

I have to admit, I almost didn't play the first Witcher game because I thought the name sounded stupid. I've acclimated to it now though.

For the most part though I don't notice bad names. Divine Divinity was the first one that made me go :retarded:.

Until it was topped by:

Sacred devs still making that "Unbended" thing, that's pretty odd.

I seriously doubt "development" is still going on. The big elephant in the room is why you would trust the people that made the experience of Sacred/Sacred 2?

Divine Divinity gets my vote because the developers said it was retarded but the publisher insisted on it.

I don't think it's coincidence all the top results are from non-native English speakers.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
While Bravely Default: Flying Fairy is a shit name, there is a surprise to the title.
If you ever intend to play it, don't read the following spoiler:
The title screen changes to Bravely Default: Laying Airy after you reach a certain point in the story.

Is it too late to change my vote from Bravely Default: Flying Fairy to Black Geyser as the worst cRPG name? Black Geyser really does sound like interracial gay porn. Might as well be called The Paladin & The Cleric's 50 Load Weekend.

This is actually kind of foxy rather than dumb, but there is a faux-JRPG on Steam called "Vagrant Hearts" which is designed to garner revenue from people like me that always got the names of Vandal Hearts and Vagrant Story confused.

In regards to ELEX, those adjectives (Eclectic, Lavish, Exhilerating, Xenial) aren't the reason for the name. Elex is the name of a special substance within the game, likely comparable to Tiberium in Dune. One of the team members say the word is a modification of the word Elixir, so it seems likely that Elex will be used in alchemy. The adjectives were probably chosen in hindsight.
