FWIW I view DA:O as old school Bioware's last real game alongside Mass Effect.

Yeah you could see elements of EA's disease starting to ravage them, but the core of what was there was still OSBW. DA:O was a great spiritual successor to BG2, which had just been tainted slightly.

The swift decline which followed though in DA:2 & ME:2 was incredible. The disease went from a cough & bit of tiredness, to bed-ridden poisonous ills.
