Is there no way to port the old style to Xenforo 2?

Re-build, yes. Port, no. The forum templates needed to be re-built. XF2 is enough of a monster that there are people who can do that for you.

I did not tell them to "copy everything exactly as you see it". But they're working on the theme. I did want something that felt re-freshed / updated but kept most of the same theme. So that Rex can finally have his graphics back and be at peace.

And why do you need Xenforo 2 at all if the old one works just fine?

Bug fixes, and sexy new features.

I mean, sure, we could've stayed on phpBB but it'd literally be hacked every day and would just stop working because PHP doesn't support half the code it uses any more.

This poll isn't any useful either. I never zoom in, but would still appreciate a small increase to font size. Like, 14px or so.

For some reason the last twelve pages of thread have been about looks and appearances, and nothing more. There are some real usability issues as well that have been wholly ignored.

I am not going to use a forum that chooses to implement mystery meat navigation, and I will not wrestle with a rich text editor either.

• Some UI elements are borked, like the page # on posts. It should be much lower, it's being obscured by the last post.
• The user info box per post is too large, it could be much smaller.
• The reactions look weird, the numbers need to be emphasized. I like the current "x2" system, it gives a lot of weight to the reactions. I can hardly see the numbers on the new design.

The new interface sucks. It is not ideal for text. It's not even ideal for shitposting (look at what any chan passes for "design". That's actually better than the redesign) because the design is conducive only to "muh newness". It's wrong. Please stop.

Look up WCAG AAA before designing your website. I guarantee you, if you follow that, it will look decent even if your colorscheme is diarrhea.

I use a standard 150% zoom for all sites since I use a laptop with a smaller screen than a desktop would have. I zoom in further for some extra small font sites, but don't adjust that zoom level for the codex.
