One of the kickstarters I backed a few years ago is such vaporware, that I forgot its name. It's an adventure game by some argentinan dudes.

We are lazy thieves. We are the laughing stock of any self respecting nation, when you read argentinian you shoulda just ran. We are not a red flag, we are a fucking black flag.

I remember now, Augustin Cordez, who made Scratches are working on a game for years. They are giving around 2 updates per year, last time they did an engine change. Fuck.

If the Codex says that a game is good, trust them, it is good. But if they say it is bad, it doesn't mean anything.
I'm looking for a benchmark program which I can run under games and it logs CPU, GPU, fps, etc data. Any suggestions?

A benchmark cannot, by definition, only be a real-time monitoring tool. It has to allow the testing of and comparison to computer gaming performance. That's what 3DMark does.

He can be his own benchmark tool with the data on his hands and google

Older games look better because the screen is not littered with a ton of effects. It is easier on the eyes and I know what is going on.

You think witcher 3 is a reflection of the visual quality of newer games overall? It's not. I'm quite a fan of how gothic 2 looks anyway.

I'm also quite a fan of how Gothic 2, it does look better than a morrowind. I think Witcher 3 is representative of current day graphical fidelity. It goes for the same cinematic look that the industry uses

Morrowind has as good or better environmental art (from a distance) than Gothic 2 but has horrible texture detail and even worse character models. The average game doesn't look as good as any of these three
Steam overlay notifications pop up one after the other showing me that lots of Codexians play the new Deus Ex.

I've just realized how stupid my question was. ^^

Don't mind them J_C. There's no such thing as a stupid question revealing how stupid we actually are.
Pillars of Eternity disappeared from Steamspy. What the heck?

Paradox asked Steamspy to remove all their games iirc.

Can confirm. That's because SteamSpy was "inaccurate" and Paradox recommend isfe.eu instead.
Or just fear of the info when they went public. Some stock market playground thing or whatever

The pound is very weak - interest rates are at a record low, and a pall of gloom covers the land. Time for a handout from Germany.
