Regarding crafting, i think i got hang of it. Basically there are 2 modes. Upgrades and actual crafting.

Upgrade is pretty straightforward, with spare parts you can upgrade your stuff to be a bit better. You can upgrade stuff i think as long as it reaches some level and it takes crafting skill into consideration. So i upgraded my tshirt from 2Armor to 40 armor using mostly common upgrade items. Upgrading is cheaper than crafting but it is still pretty expensive to upgrade that shirt i had to use up nearly 500 of common upgrade parts.

Crafting was confusing to me but i think i got it. Basically you unlock recipes and you make whole thing from scratch with stats based on your level?/crafting? ability. This includes guns. Moreover i saw in one shop designs for healing items though i didn't have SC to buy them.

All items can be dismantled for parts from which you then can make or upgrade stuff. Those parts are standardized and divided into few categories. So if you dismantle some chip you will get parts for making chips, if you dismantle weapon you will get parts for weapon yadayada. There is nice perk for crafting that automatically dismantles all junk you pick up into common upgrade parts. Those junk items mostly are there for those base level crafting resources because from what i have seen crafting is much more expensive resource wise than upgrading.

TLDR. You can effectively upgrade any gear you want to reach same or even better stats than guns armor you find. So in theory you can only use V basic gear whole game if you upgrade your stuff a lot. It is effectively "transmog" system with some cost as upgrades don't require anything other than crafting skill which is separate from points you earn.

1.EXTREMELY dumbed down rpg elements, in fact game is more like gta 5 in cyberpunk then crpg

It is at least better than Witcher 3.

2.Compared to paper cyberpunk this game is so dumbed down especially mechanically and in rpg elements ( classes , character development etc ) that it is not even funny.

No shit. How many companies that specialise in proper RPG design and development exist? TSI is dead.

How in Odin's name do you use Hidden Dragon? The description is saying that it's an active skill but I can't AssAssIn Creed my way on to mofos.

About the game, I can say that it's very good so far. The aesthetics are on point, skills are interesting (going full stealth if I can) and so far I love the world. Not sure how the story is since I played for 8h and I didn't even jump in Dex's car:D

Game runs great and so far I just encountered one dialogue glitch.

Things that are not so good... Melee combat is not fun. Not that gunplay is much better but melee feels very sloppy and underwhelming. I was kind of expecting this since they showcased a lot of guns and gun play in their episodes but still... :negative:

Strap Yourselves In Pathfinder: Wrath
Just use reboot optics as a hacker and stealth gameplay solves itself.

You even can skill that it jumps from enemy to enemy. You can literally not be seen for *ages*.

Stealth is bad reeeee 1!!1!

It doesn't look like it was done on the first try. Being familiar with the level layout and enemy placement always makes stealth waay smoother.

A little familiarity with the system so you pick the right attributes and perks probably helps, too.
In the end, I gave up on stealth in that place and just used that (for early game) insane katana you get right at the start. Except for the end boss who was easy to sneak around.

Cyberpunk 2077 wasn't supposed to do Witcher 3 numbers (or likely a lot less, I don't know where you got 12 million or 16-20 million range from suddenly).

I am not sure what you mean by this, and the rest of your post doesn't explain it. But nobody makes a game expecting or hoping to have low sales. I don't care what they say in public.

The 12 million (which I indicated was a guess) includes the fact that there are sources we don't have access to, so understanding the total number of pre-orders and first day sales might not be possible for a while. We do know that they've done at least 8 millions units sold, pre-order. This does NOT include pre-orders from some sources (like the Epic games store, which is privately owned and I believe doesn't have to share their numbers on anything) and some retail outlets. My guess is that when everything is tallied up, the total combination of pre-order and first-day sales will exceed 12 million, and could be in the 16-20 range. Or not. It could top out at 10 million. But it is at least 8 million at this point.

I was on consultation calls years ago (2017 I think) with investors who were worried that the game wouldn't hit 13 million over lifetime sales. I told them that was an easy target to hit, and it looks like that was case. They should hit 13 million in a year, let alone lifetime sales of the game and any ongoing GaaS model structures they build in the future.

A million concurrent players on Steam. An absolute historic record for SP games. Second best is Fallout 4 with 470 000.
8 million copies sold in 24 hours. Second best after GTA V I think.

Guy, you are doublepostling. Have you played Cyberpunk 2077?

Why do I have the feeling that the "Fool On The Hill" is not just a smile fetch quest, even though it looks like one.

They had mike pondsmith

Doesn't mean he had significant input into development. He could also have been happy that CDPR were bringing his world to life that he didn't mind the lack of proper RPG elements.

It is like a book being brought to film, even if it is good it still pales in comparison.

What? They are confident, and they are expected to from the market, to hit 35 million units sold in the first year alone. Bloomberg lowered this number today a bit due to the console shitshow we are experiencing.

So far i am impressed how stable actual gameplay is considering those graphical glitches. I am yet to run into any gameplay bug and i have nearly 20 hours already.

Same here. It's mostly just minute shit and even that is not that frequent on my end. The most notable bug I had so far was during the Maelstrom mission where my third weapon just wouldn't fire, which I resolved by restarting the game.

All conjecture obviously, but bugs might be hardware dependent. Especially people who run this off of HDDs seem to suffer from all kinds of shit.

Talkin' strictly PC here, last gen consoles are FUBAR.

Hidden Dragon is the aerial take down, right? You just jump on fools and it triggers organically.

So we agree they will sell at least 13 million?

Man.. 10 hours in, i decided to install some augments... and they are all boring %-based upgrades. 10% to armor, that sort of thing. What's the difference between these and normal skill points. And the studio CEO is calling his game a 'gem'. It's more like a giant, contiguous log of shit.
