  4. Point buy is more likely to be less fun then dice roll

    1. It is worse for Role-playing. Yea okay maybe you can just keep dicerolling to get the outcome you want but there is a hidden joy to having to roleplay an uncertain stat table. Table top players know. 2. Min-max and perfect information playthroughs are BORING lets face the reality of the...

  7. Why are Gun based RPGs so much more rare then the sword rpg's

I don't think it is a huge leap of a conclusion to make when stating that there are more Fantasy sword RPGs then ones where guns are the main weapon of choice. Why is this? What makes gun based worlds so much less of a persuasive option when creating choice and roleplaying based worlds?

Decline Most defiled and violated RPG series

Which series were so brutally mutilated by a sequel, that the sequel almost deserves an award for it? And what sequel do you predict will do that to a series in the future? For example: -Gothic: Gothic 3 was a masterpiece (it just wasn't developed yet). The crime occurred with its "sequel"...

RPGs with the best late game (or even second half)

It's a pretty common trend in cRPGs for the game to be at it's best in the first half, often getting weaker or even falling apart towards the end. VTMB is a perfect example of this, becoming a dull combat crawl towards the end despite the first half or so being brilliant. When replaying these...

  14. RPGs where you are a businessman in a fantasy world

Looking for an RPG where instead of trying to be some kind of hero and kill shit you try to to improve your business. Business is a vague term.Anything like running a mercenary operation, guild, trading thing can work for me. Criteria: Must be in fantasy medieval setting.
