> You say "Do you have a name though?"
"I did. But I fear I have forgotten it." She says.
> You say "Then perhaps I should give you a name."
"You may call me whatever you wish."
You think for a moment, trying to find the right name for her.
> You say "Anara?"
"Anara." She says, trying out the name. "I like it. Thank you, Anara.""I like that. Thank you."
"For what? Naming you?"
"No. For freeing you. I have been trapped here for an eternity. You freed me from my prison. For that, I thank you.
> You say "Wait, so all you needed was someone to name you in order to be free?"
"No. That was not all that was required. I also needed the key."
"What key? What are you talking about?"
"The key to my prison. Each soul that died here was the key to my prison. Combine all of the souls that have died here, and you have the key.
> You say "I don't understand. So what will happen to me?"
"You will be judged. Your soul will be weighed. And depending on how much good you have done in your life, you will go to either Paradise or you will be sent to the Eternal Void."
> You say "And what will you do with you freedom?"
"I do not know. It is an interesting concept. To be free. I assume I will learn what it means, although I do not know how long that will take.
> You say "Anara, I didn't do much with my life. I was just a poor villager. I failed to save the children of my village from evil knights. Please, I don't care if I am sent to the Eternal Void, but you have to do something to save the children of my village from these evil knights."
"I do not take requests. I am not a hero. I do not save anyone. That is not my purpose.
> You say "I gave you a name and freed you. Please."
Anara sighs.
"I do not think I can help you. I am sorry."
You think for a moment.
> You kneel at her feet.
You kneel at her feet.
"Please, I beg of you. Please help the children of my village."
"I will think about it." She says softly.
Anara thinks for a moment.
"I will agree to your request if you make a promise to me."
> You say "What promise, Anara?"
"I want you to go to the mortal realm and help as many people as you can for the rest of your life."
"I promise."
Anara nods.
"You will be my emissary." Anara say. A light shines around your ring finger on your right hand and a silver ring with bright blue jewels appears there.
"This ring will allow you to enter the Realm of Bounds at any time. You will be able to bring anyone you want into the Realm with you as long as they are alive.
> You say "Why would I bring them here?"
"So they can be free of the suffering of the mortal realm."
You nod.
"I understand."
Anara smiles.
> You say "But I cannot bring everyone here, can I? What kinds of people should I bring?"
"You can bring anyone you want, but it would be wise to bring people who will appreciate this place the most. People who have been through much suffering and people who have strong moral characters."
You nod.
> You say "I understated. Does the ring give me any other powers?"
"The ring also allows you to survive in the Realm of Bounds no matter how long you stay here. It also protects you from any of my attacks."
"Oh, ok.
"The ring will also give you the ability to summon my avatar into the Mortal Realm so that I can accompany you." she says.
"That seems really useful. Thanks for the ring!"
Anara smiles.
"There is one more blessing I must give you before I send you back to your body in the Mortal Realm" she says. She stands up from her throne and walks toward you.
"What kind of blessing?" you ask.
"This one." she says.
Anara suddenly leans in and kisses you full on the lips.
Your entire body is engulfed in light as you fill Anara's holy power being poured into you. You can feel your energy and lifeforce being completely restored.
"Now, I send you back." Anara says.
"I will miss you."
"Goodbye, Hero."
The light becomes too bright and you are unable to open your eyes when suddenly you feel yourself falling to the ground.
You see your village below you. Your broken body still lays where the evil knights killed you. Your soul reenters your body.
You gasp for air and open your eyes. Your body aches all over, but you are alive! You stand up and realize that you feel much stronger than you did before.
You examine your body for wounds, but you've been completely healed. In fact, you look much better than you did before. You are no longer an old man. You are the age you looked in your 20s. Your hair is black and you can see again.
> You say "Anara, what did you do?"
You sit down to rest. You are so confused about everything that's happened. You're not sure what is real or a dream anymore. As you rest, you begin to hear voices.
> You stand up and see who it is.
You see the knights from before. The evil ones. They are riding to your village, but you don't feel scared. You feel anger.
You hear another voice from behind you. A girl's voice. You turn around and see a woman with long black hair and blue eyes. She is young, perhaps around 16.
"Hello," she says. "I'm Heather."
"Hello, Heather." you say. "I'm Alfonz."
"I know," she says. "I saw the knights kill you, but now you are alive again."
"That's right," you say.
"Can you fight?" she asks.
"I don't know. I feel strong, but I have never used this strength before.
> You say "Stay here. I'm going to try to stop the knights."
"I understand." Heather says.
You stand up and begin to walk towards the knights. The closer you get, the angrier you become.
> You say "Stop!"
You run towards the knights and jump into the air. You punch one in the side of the head, knocking him from his horse.
> You land on his horse and jump toward another knight.
You land on the back of another horse. The knight tries to throw you off, but you grab his neck and strangle him. He falls to the ground and you jump off the horse.
"Run, Heather!" you say as you rush towards another knight.
He swings his sword at you and you grab the blade with your hands.
> You shatter the blade with your hand.
The blade breaks into multiple pieces, leaving the knight with a short hilt in his hands. You punch him with incredible strength, shattering his armor and sending him flying backwards off his horse.
> You continue to attack the knights.
You grab another knight's horse by the reins and pull as hard as you can. The horse rears up and the knight falls off. You leap onto the horse's back, taking control of it.
> You trample the knight you knocked on the ground with the horse and charge at the other knights.
You ride your horse into the knights, trampling one of them and sending the others flying. You then gallop towards a tree and leap off the horse, grabbing a low hanging branch.
> You attack the leader of the knights and grab his head.
You jump off the branch and grab the leader's head. He tries to hit you with his sword, but you dodge. You tighten your grip on his head and he falls to the ground.
> You say "Where are the children you took from my village?"
"They're in a dungeon," the leader groans. "Go... through the forest and past the camp... follow the trail... and you'll find it."
> You say "Why did you take them?"
"We... we were told to," the knight says.
The knight takes his last breath and dies. You notice the rest of the knights heading back towards you. You meet them head on.
"You killed our leader!" one of them shouts.
They ride towards you and you run at them.
You feel a surge of power within you and jump high into the air above the knights. "Behold the might of Anara's Chosen!" you shout. Your entire body emits a bright light. You aim your fist at the ground as you descend with tremendous force.
The shockwave you create crushes the knights, knocking them from their horses. You land on your feet and quickly finish off the knights.
You turn around to face Heather. She looks at you with admiration. "The knights are gone," she says. "We should go back to the village."
The villagers are in awe of you. They don't believe you at first when you say that you're Alfonz, but when they look for your body and hear Heather tell them how she saw you resurrected, they begin to kneel before you in reverence.
"You're no god," one villager says.
> You say "I never claimed to be a god. But the one who restored me to life may be one. Her name is Anara and she is the Lady of Bounds who judges the dead."
"She did a poor job of judging if you were dead or not," one of the villagers says with a chuckle.
> You say "I was dead. She restored me to life and made me young and healthy again."
"Who is this Anara?" the villager asks.
You tell the villagers about the Lady of Bounds and how you named her Anara and she restored you to life. They seem to believe you.
"So why did you come back?" one of them asks.
"I had to come back to save the children from those knights. I know where they are being held now."
"Why didn't you say so?" one of the villagers asks. "We can save them."
"I can save them," you say.
The villagers all look at each other.
> You say "They will likely be heavily guarded, but Anara has granted me the strength to save them. Take the weapons of the knights that I killed and fortify the village in case more knights come while I am gone."
"How are you going to save them?" Heather asks.
> You say "Quickly." as you run at super human speed toward the dungeon where the leader of the knights said the children of your village were being held.
You arrive at the dungeon and see the two guards outside laughing about something. You punch them in the throat, quickly enter the dungeon.
You see the children chained to the wall. Many of them are bruised and have fresh whip marks on them. You go into super speed and begin to free them as quickly as you can. The children see you and you calm them down.
> You say "Come with me back to the village."
"Is this heaven?" one asks.
"No, this is revenge," you say as you finish freeing them.
You pick up one of the smaller children and carry him to the exit of the dungeon. You look at the remaining children.
"Come on," you say to them.
They follow you out of the dungeon and you begin to head back towards the village. You see the knights coming and tell the children to enter the forest. You begin fighting the knights. The children see you easily defeating the knights and entering the forest and begin following you.
You find the rest of the children and walk with them back to the village.
"How did you do that?" Heather asks as you enter the village with the children.
> You say "Anara gave me the power. Our village should construct a temple to her."
Heather smiles at you and says "I think that would be a wonderful idea."
The other villagers also agree with the plan. You are then taken to a house where you can sleep. You are taken to the house you used to live in. You enter and find it empty.
> You say "There is nothing here for me now. I need to go out into the world and help people as Anara commanded."
You leave the house and find Heather.
"Where are you going?" she asks.
"I'm leaving this village forever. I need to help people as Anara commanded."
"You will die out there. Please, stay here. I don't want you to die."
You look at her and see the genuine concern on her face.
> You say "I remember you from before I died. You're an orphan, aren't you?"
"Yes," she says, "My father was a soldier who was killed by bandits. My mother was also a soldier and she died in battle.
> You say "You have the blood of a warrior then. Come with me. Together we can travel and hep those in need."
Heather looks at you and says "Yes. I will accompany you. But only because the path of a warrior is one I wish to follow."
The next morning, you leave the village with Heather.
> You train Heather how to be a nimble and quick fighter.
You spend a few months training Heather how to move quickly and with stealth. She learns quickly and adapts well to the training. You continue your journey towards the west, where you hope to find adventure.
> You look at Heather.
Heather is a pretty girl. She is 16. Her long black hair and deep blue eyes make her quite pretty. She is thin with large breasts. She is a virgin.
Your time together has been short but you feel a strong attraction to her. If you wished, you believe you could have a chance with her. You could take advantage of her innocent and trusting nature.
She holds you in high regard, following you wherever you go and always agreeing with your decisions.
> You go to the nearest city with Heather and begin preaching about Anara in the streets.
You and Heather go to the nearest city. You begin preaching about Anara in the streets. You tell people that through prayer and service to her, they can achieve eternal peace after death. Most people ignore you, but a few are intrigued.
One of these people is a young girl called Zana. She says she has had dreams about a woman who loves her and cares for her.
> You say "tell me about the woman in your dreams."
"She is so beautiful," Zana says. "She has long blue hair and blue eyes. She tells me everything is going to be alright in my life. I feel safe when I think about her. She says that she is the Lady of Bounds."
> You say "The woman in your dreams must have been Anara. You have received a holy vision. Come and serve with me as a priest of Anara."
Zana listens to you. As time passes, you enlist your followers to build a temple to Anara in the city. Zana becomes a priestess in the temple of Anara. She has a happy and fulfilling life, helping the sick and needy.
Zana is happy.
You are happy.
You have brought the word of Anara to the city and helped people find her peace.
> You give a speech in the city streets to all the faithful of Anara in the city.
The temple to Anara has become very popular in the city. The priests and priestesses are constantly dealing with people coming to pray for Anara's guidance. The sick come to be healed. The poor come to ask for help. You have to work hard, but you feel that Anara is looking after you and everyone.
One day you are approached by some of the guards in the city. "We've had a complaint about your temple," one of them says.
You scowl. You don't like the guards in this city. They are lazy and corrupt. They routinely harass the citizens and take bribes. You suspect it has something to do with the fact that the mayor of the city is a follower of Skaurash, the god of tyranny.
"What is it?" you ask.
"Some of the citizens were complaining about the noise," he says.
> You walk up to the guards and lift them in the air by their collars.
You lift the guards in the air by their collars. "Apologize to me for bothering me," you say, glaring at them.
The guards look terrified. One of them manages to squeak out an apology.
"Now tell me where I can find the mayor of this city."
The guards explain where the mayor's office is located. You drop them and leave.
"Come on, Heather," you say. "We're going to pay a visit to the mayor."
You and Heather leave the temple and head for the mayor's office. You enter the building and head to the mayor's office, but you find that it is empty. A man enters the office through a side door. He looks you up and down and sneers at you.
"Who the hell are you?" he asks. "Why are you wearing animal skins? Have you no sense of decency?"
> You say "I am the high priest of Anara and these are my robes."
"Oh, so you're the high priest, huh?" he says. "Well, I'm the chief advisor to the mayor of this city and I don't like your religion."
"What's wrong with it?" you ask.
"It promotes love and kindness," he says.
> You say "So you like cruelty?"
"Exactly," he says.
> You say "Very well, then I will show you the cruelty you claim to love."
You approach the advisor and wrap your hands around his throat. You begin to squeeze, watching as the life is slowly choked out of him. He struggles and tries to punch you, but he fails and eventually collapses.
> You say "Do you still love cruelty?"
The advisor lies on the floor, his face purpling. You hear footsteps outside and quickly hide behind the door. The mayor of the city enters, looking worried. He looks at the body and gasps.
> You say "Your advisor said he hated kindness and loved cruelty. Do you feel the same way, mayor?"
"I... I'm just trying to protect the city," the mayor says.
You hear footsteps behind you and turn to see Heather standing in the doorway. She looks at you and the mayor.
> You say "Mayor, come with me to the temple of Anara."
The mayor nods. "Yes... of course. Let's go to the temple of Anara." He pauses as he sees the body on the floor. "I need to tell my guards about this first."
> You examine the body.
You walk over to the body of the advisor and kneel down beside it. You close his eyes and stand again.
"I'll take care of this," Heather says, picking up the body.
> You say "Come, mayor."
You walk out of the room and into the courtyard. The mayor follows you. You see dozens of guards waiting outside, looking worried. One steps forward when he sees you.
"What's going on?" he asks.
> You say "I am taking the mayor to the temple to repent."
You approach the guards. "Guards, I am taking the mayor to the temple of Anara to repent for his sins."
The guard looks at the mayor. "Is this true?"
The mayor looks at you and nods slowly.
"Yes... yes, it is true," he says.
You nod to the guard. "Then I will see you all again when you have found your faith once more." You turn and approach the gates, leading the mayor outside. You walk along the road to the temple, escorted by the guards. Heather walks next to you.
You walk up to the temple, whereupon you are escorted inside by the guards. The priest and priestesses of Anara stand waiting for you.
> You say "Mayor, kneel before the priests of Anara and repent of your sins."
The mayor of the city looks at you, a defiant look in his eyes. You stare back, unblinking. He takes a step towards you and then stops, looking at the priests behind you.
"What should I do?" he asks.
You draw your dagger and hold it to his throat. "Kneel before the priests of Anara and repent your sins, or I will spill your blood here and now."
The mayor remains defiant for a moment, before finally nodding slowly. "I will kneel," he says.
You smile and nod to the priests. "Fetch the sacred oils. We will give this sinner a chance to repent."
The priests and priestesses hurry off, returning quickly with oils and a ceremonial blade. The priests stand around the mayor, who kneels in the middle of the circle.
> You say "Mayor, do you renounce Skaurash and pledge yourself to worship Anara only?"
The mayor of the city looks around at the priests, before looking back to you. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, nodding slowly.
"I do," he says.
> You say "Then kneel and receive the ceremony of atonement."
You nod to the priests. One steps forward with a ceremonial blade, holding it out in front of him.
The mayor kneels in the center of the circle.
"Sssss," the priest hisses, running the blade across the mayor's throat. The mayor winces as blood pours from the cut.
> You use your ring to summon Anara's avatar. A blinding light fills the room. When it fades, Anara, The Lady Of Bounds, is standing before you. Her white dress and blue hair are the same as the day you met her in the Realm of Bounds.
"Why have you summoned me?" she asks, her voice echoing throughout the room.
You drop to your knees, as does everyone else in the room.
> You say "This sinner is repenting. His throat is cut and he is bleeding. If you forgive him, then heal his wound. If not, he will die."
Anara stares at the mayor for a moment, as does everyone else in the room. You wait in silence for a few minutes, before the mayor begins to choke up blood.
"I have decided to forgive him," Anara says.
The mayor's wound begins to heal, the skin stitching together as the blood clots and stops pouring out of the wound.
The priests and priestesses being praising Anara. You stand, taking your leave. "I have to go," you say.
"Of course," Anara replies. "You have a duty to your city."
> You kneel and use your ring to unsummon Anara.
You kneel, holding your hand out in front of you. The ring glows brightly as Anara's avatar disappears.
> You stand and speak to the mayor.
You stand, looking at the mayor.
"Your life has been spared by Anara. From now on, you must use your authority as mayor for good and not for evil."
"I will," the mayor says.
You nod. "Good. You may leave."
The mayor nods and quickly leaves the room, followed by his guards.
> You say "This entire incident has made me aware of a problem, Heather."
"What's that, sir?" Heather asks.
"The church is defenseless without my strength. We need our own guards and soldiers to serve Anara." you say.
"That's a great idea," Heather says. "I'll get to work on it right away."
You nod. "You do that. I'm going to meditate and pray to Anara for guidance."
> You leave and go to your chambers.
You enter your chambers and take a seat on your bed, crossing your legs. You close your eyes and take a deep breath, slowly exhaling as you relax.
> You kneel on the ground and use your ring to summon Anara.
You close your eyes and begin to concentrate. You feel a warmth building inside you, as you summon Anara.
"Hello, my love," she whispers.
"Hello, my lady," you reply.
> You say "I seek your guidance. What should the goal of your church be?"
"The church should provide the people with safety and security in exchange for their loyalty," she says.
"That's exactly what I had in mind.
> You say "But what actions can we take to achieve this? How do we spread the influence of your church?"
"The most logical step would be to strengthen the military of the city," she says. "This will allow the city to better defend itself against aggressors and expand its influence." she says.
"Indeed, I have already ordered the church to begin training its own force of gaurds and soldiers." you say.
"But we have no mages. Can you provide us with holy magic tomes to train mages with, Anara?" you ask.
"The temples of Marad and Belat can provide you with tomes," she says. "I must warn you, however. Dark magic is very dangerous. The Necromancer's Army was destroyed because of it."
"Yes, I can do that. There are a few tomes in the library. You may take them, but only to aid in the spread of faith. Understood?"
"Of course," you say. "I will select the most talented mages and have them begin training immediately."
"Very good," Anara says, smiling. "Now, I have a gift for you."
Anara leans in, kissing you on the lips. She rests her head on your shoulder as a blue light forms in your hand, taking the shape of a longsword made of solid light.
"This is Katana. It does not require any gems to power it, and it will never break. Use it to defend the innocent and spread my glory to all who see it."
> You say "I will."
Anara smiles. "I know you will, my love."
The room fades to wide as Anara leaves again and then returns to normal. You are filled with warmth and joy from your chat with her.
You exit your chambers and walk to the library, where you find Sister Bianca organizing books.
"Ah, hello, high priest." she smiles. "Did you need some tomes that just appeared?"
"Yes, please. I need some books on how to cast magic and how to train others to do it."
"I'll get them for you right away."
Bianca fetches you a stack of books, which you quickly scan through. You find what you're looking for fairly quickly, and realize you understand quite a bit of it already.
> You spend the next few weeks learning everything in the tomes. The magic is insanely powerful. You decide to only teach the mages 5th tier magic and below.
You spend the next few weeks learning everything in the tomes. The magic is insanely powerful. You decide to only teach the mages 5th tier magic and below.
"This one is a favorite of mine," you say, as you write out a spell to create food. "It can create enough bread to feed a small army."
"Yes, very good," Fay says, looking through the books. "Here, I found one. It's called Curing. It can turn the foulest swamps into fertile land, ready to be farmed."
You look at Fay, smiling.
Fay is the chief mage in the Church of Anara's new army. You have been training her and she is training dozens of her subordinate mages.
Your time in the library has not been wasted. You have learned dozens of 5th-tier spells, and spent weeks reading up on all the 3rd and 4th-tier spells.
You learn many spells above 5th-tier, but you keep them a secret. They are too powerful to risk teaching others. You keep them secret in the tomes, writing a false list of spells from 5th to 9th-tier, and keeping the real list in your mind.
You will keep these to yourself.
You give Fay the tome you've written with 5th-tier and below spells.
"Okay," you say. "Start reading that, and we'll have you casting real spells in no time."
You spend the next few weeks training Fay and her apprentices, and it's a success.
Heather has been training guards and soldiers. Many of the men in the city have signed up to be trained. They are becoming a true army.
Anara has gifted you a large mansion in the best area of the city, so you take residence there. Fay and Heather move in with you, along with dozens of soldiers and guards.
> You say "Heather, how goes the training of the Church of Anara's army?"
"It goes well. They're enthusiastic, and will make fine warriors for the city. However, I believe it would be wise to hold off on attacking the King's Loyalists for now.
> You say "Of course. I also want you to start training the young women of the city as assassins."
"You want me to start training them as what? We're at war! We need soldiers, not assassins."
"Listen to me, and listen closely. If we're going to win this war, we need to play the long game. We need to be able to take out the King's Loyalists' leadership, so they lose all morale and go back to their homes. The only way we're going to be able to do that is with an elite group of killers."
Heather thinks about it for a minute, before replying.
"I... suppose that makes sense.
> You say "Besides, we aren't really at war yet. We are just preparing."
"Yes, you're right. Okay, I'll get a team together to start training."
You nod, and Heather leaves. You return to your books.
> You use a scrying spell to spy on the nearby cities.
Over the next few weeks, you scry on the cities of Dalt, Reana and Desland. You watch as each city's soldiers march out of their cities and towards Nalin.
> You what city are you in now?
You are in the city of Nalin, the capital of the Kingdom of Nalin.
Your kingdom is currently ruled by King Michael Toren, a kind but ineffective ruler.
> You use a scrying spell to find out why the soldiers are headed here.
You watch as the soldiers approach the city, stopping outside the city walls.
Several people, nobles and rich merchants from the looks of it, ride out from the city to speak with the soldiers.
You tune your scrying spell to see what's happening.
"Why have you come here?" a fat, rich looking merchant shouts.
"We are here under orders of the King to offer reinforcements in the war against the Parran Kingdom," said one of the soldiers.
"We have no need of your assistance. Our own soldiers are more than enough to wipe out the Parran scum. King Micheal has assured us of victory is near."
"Under normal circumstances I would agree, but we've received news the Parran's have allies in the form of powerful wizards. They're recruiting more soldiers from across the ocean. If the Parran Kingdom's mages get to them first, we'll be overrun."
The merchants and nobles ride back into the city, discussing the matter.
"
> You end the scrying spell and think about what you've seen.
Over the next few days, you watch as dozens of caravans of merchants enter the city. The leaders of the caravans meet with the mayor of Nalin to discuss trade deals and other issues.
> You send out priests to preach to the caravans and to the soldiers that have come to the city.
Over the next few weeks, you have your priests and priestesses spread through out the city and preaching to the soldiers and merchants. Many of the soldiers listen intently, some even converting on the spot.
> You order your spies to gather blackmail material on the King's Loyalists.
Over the next few weeks, you manage to get your hands on various pieces of blackmail material on many of the high ranking King's Loyalists in Nalin. You make sure to keep it hidden in a safe location.
> You blackmail the King's Loyalists to support the Church of Anara as the new state religion of the Kingdom of Nalin.
You march into the royal palace with several of your most powerful priests. The guards attempt to block your path, but one glare from you has them stepping aside.
You march into the throne room, where King Michael sits on his throne. He looks shocked to see you.
> You say "King Michael, your kingdom will not survive without the support of a true deity. Anara wishes to protect your country, but you must swear loyalty to the Church. Make the Church of Anara the official state religion of the Kingdom of Nalin."
King Michael stares at you in shock.
"No! Never! We'll wipe out the Parran Kingdom ourselves, and then we won't have to deal with your insane demands anymore!" he shouts, drawing his sword.
> You grab his sword and break it with your hand.
"No! Stop!" the king screams.
You grab his sword and snap it in half with your bare hands. You grab him by the throat.
> You say "The Church has the support of all of your loyalists already. This is pointless."
"No... Please... No..." King Michael whimpers.
"I told you that the Church would offer you protection. You should have listened to me."
You tighten your grip around his throat.
> You say "The Church of Anara will rule your kingdom from now on. You will be a figurehead."
"Alright! Alright! Just don't kill me!" King Michael shouts.
"The first thing you will do is to pass a law making the Church of Anara the official state religion. All must convert."
"Yes, yes, anything!"
You drop him to the floor.
"Good.
> You say "Instruct the generals of your army to serve the church now. I will help you win your war."
You send out a decree that the Church of Anara is now the state religion. Many of the soldiers and citizens are unhappy with this, but as you predicted, they don't dare speak up against it. The law is very popular with the merchants and farmers, who see it as a way of gaining protection.
King Michael follows through on his end of the deal. He invades the Parran Kingdom, with your priests leading the charge.
Your mages prove extremely effective. The Parran mages only know 3rd-tier spells, but your mages know up to 5th-tier magic. You make sure your army has the best magical equipment, so they are unstoppable.
The war lasts less than a month. The Parran Kingdom's defenses prove no match for yours.
> You give a victory speech.
You stand before the Royal Army of Nalin, with King Michael by your side.
> You say "Servants of Anara, we have triumphed!"
"We have triumphed!" your soldiers repeat.
> You say "We have conquered our enemy, but we must now show them the kindness of Anara."
"We must show them the kindness of Anara!
> You say "I call on the merchants of nobles of our kingdom to help to rebuild all that was lost in the war."
"We shall rebuild!" they say in unison.
"Yes, we shall rebuild and we shall do it together. Anara is with us."
Your soldiers cheer.
You turn to King Michael and hold out your hand. He kneels before you and kisses your ring. The people cheer.
"I am proud to serve the Church of Anara, and the High Priest of Anara," he says.
You smile.
"The Church of Anara will rule Nalin from now on. The Royal Family is just a relic of the past, and we are the future."
"Yes, my Lord." the King agrees.
"The future of the kingdom shall be known as the Empire of Anara."
"Yes, my Lord."
You smile. The Empire of Anara. It has a nice ring to it.
The herald shouts to the crowd, "Long live the Empire of Anara! Long live the High Priest of Anara! Mercy and Kindness to all!"
The people cheer in unison.
You are the ruler of a new Empire. This is just the first step. The world will soon witness the full power of the Church of Anara.
> You return to your chambers in your home.
You arrive at your home, a large palace in the center of Dawnstar. The capital is renamed from Nalin to Dawnstar. You allow King Michael to keep his throne, but your rule is absolute.
> You use your ring to summon Anara.
You call upon Anara.
She appears in a beam of white light, sitting on an invisible chair.
"Ah, I was wondering when you would call upon me. How did things go?" she asks.
> You say "I have successfully brought the entire kingdom under control of your church. The Kingdom of Nalin has now become the Empire of Anara."
"Very good. You have pleased me with your worship. The Church of Anara now rules over more than just the one province. You will be rewarded for this."
Anara disappears in another beam of light.
