End of chapter 10 on insane. From spoilers i know there is at least 2 more chapters, but my party is already maxed and i'm burned out. Don't think i will finish it.

IE combat is still fun, some nice locations and encounters, but if i want pure IE combat - i have IWD. I think, it's best way to play SoD - with full custom party and skipping dialogs. It will save you from facepalms and you can enjoy good parts.

You are really close to end, remaining chapters are super short. Basically all is left is slaughtering some trash and a boss fight (which imo is the best part of the game and holds candle to best fights from other IE games).
The ending is pretty funny in how stupid it is.

https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/52705/more-on-mizhena-from-trent-oster

In addition to an interview to www.develop-online, Trent Oster has talked about Mizhena and surrounding issues tohttp://www.gamebug.com.au/.
.....
One interesting counter to that I’ve heard a lot recently is: In a fantasy world, with half-elves, half orcs and girdles of masculinity/femininity, maybe gender isn’t such a big deal and as such the character doesn’t feel she’s really risking anything by telling you the origin of her name.

lol, no. Trent said they aren't going to make PS:T and IWD2 EE because engines are different and it's too much work.

Thank you for correcting that, I took it from a Moderator on Beamdog, and he did not write any names or gave a link to that one from what I could see.

That is all well and nice, son - but you can tell such fairy tales to people who haven't played the game. You see, your strategy does not work on Adra dragon. My fighter tank with best equipment I could find gets annihilated by the Adra dragon in 2-3 blows. Even if I was able to heal my fighter - which I cant because your healer needs to get close and then gets crushed by the dragon before he can cast a spell - my fighter would still get annihilated 5 seconds later. Secondly, the range on pretty much any other spell is well within the reach of the adra dragon, so when he does his 360 degrees attack - he one shots anyone who is trying to cast a spell at him. To top it off, he is immune to everything, unless you can petrify him - but good luck with that (as I said spell range is the problem).

The only thing that works on him is to get lucky and successfully petrify him before he one shots your spell caster, and then quickly bash him to death in 10 seconds before the petrifying spell runs out. Trying to keep the aggro on the adra dragon is not possible, because your fighter will be dead in a matter of seconds. And to even compare Sky dragon fight with that green monstrosity is ridiculous. Sky Dragon is nothing in comparison to the Adra dragon. The only sure way to kill that green bastard is to cheese your way to victory. As I said, spamming infinite number of giants by your chanter while you are keeping your distance does miracles. She couldn't even scratch me - which proves my point. Crappy design.

Eh, maybe you tried at too low level, or maybe your equipment wasn't up to par. Durance & Eder held the big bad just fine while the rest of the party were off killing xaurips. It's been some time so I don't remember the details, but I recall Eder being nigh unkillable with Consecrated Ground up.

I did use a bit of cheese by positioning the party away from the unit initiating conversation with the dragon, but that's about it. By no means easy, but doable.

Wtf is that thing? I can see the tops of the letters that spell out "Katherine Cross" but I can't see the rest of whatever it is.

the twitter embedding seems to be a bit bugged. I get similar issues when other users link to twitter using the "media" option.

Yeah, Annie had her own little fiasco that ruined Dead State. I'm not sure she's the best person to get support from.

Ugh, I can't take her lack of logic. Also, where is the follow up?

She says something to the effect of "People complaining of tokenism are just lying. They just don't want a trans character in the game"

Yet, after Beamdog addressed said tokenism most of this bruhaha has considerably calmed down. Where is her introspection now? She's so full of crap. She's just a partisan like anyone else. Completely intellectually corrupt.

I hate academics who try and sell themselves as actually doing analysis. All they do is cherry pick what they think the truth is. It's the same thing Paul Krugman does on the NYtimes. Both are hacks, but at least Krugman spews BS on something actually important to society.

To illustrate my point:

At the very least one can argue that the debate of this mellowed considerably once Beamdog made its announcement (April 6, 2016). If people were truly upset about the trans character ONLY, then if anything we would see an uptick in the whole conversation.

And this person is a PhD candidate? Please.

I'm on Troll Claw hills. Is there any decent side exploration after you meet Jaheira? Honestly, I'm not that interested to get to know the story, it seems whatever, boring at the best and fanfiction at worst. I only want to kill shit, explore shit and get loot. Do you have some room for exploration or it gets even more linear than already is?

PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Divinity: Original Sin 2 A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath
While RPGs have a great history of people blurting out their stories / needs to players at the drop of a hat, some people felt Mizhena should be more protective of her gender identity and would keep it hidden.

On the other hand, Mizhena was written under guidelines to limit support characters to only three nodes of dialogue. This construct really forces the character to quickly get to the point on anything we want them to discuss or reveal.
Well, this is exactly why it was called out as "forced political agenda", you twat.

#justsjwthings: "When your characater has a 3 nodes limit but you just have to have him declare he is a tranny"

On humanities, logic is what the sociology professor farts while he is high on dope.
Too right. I've been in philology which is even fart-er in that regard, and in history, which was more down to earth, but only because of quality professors. Generally, politics creeps in where science arguments are weak or absent, and in the humanities which are not really sciences in the strict meaning of the word, that happens a lot easier.

Politics operates with trust, and subjective interests, and a good political argument usually can't make a good scientific argument and vice versa.

No. So far every chapter you get warcamp, 1 location to major advance in story and 1-2 locations to advance story not so much and do some pew-pew. You can explore them for secrets, quests and some caves, but that's all.

Both BG:EEs are now 85% off at GOG - trying to rebound/push the SoD sales?
It's still the same pricing as it has been since April 5 and is supposed to be till April 29:
85% off if you own the originals, 60% off if you don't. The only thing that has changed now is how the website reacts to you being logged in or not.

Roguey, maybe you know - how did Annie react to her (now almost certainly) former hero Notch giving the middle finger to her fellow SJW brethren on twitter?

I don't keep up with her on twitter (I always found her loud personality off-putting), but she no longer follows him on twitter. :) Her last message to him was on February 26.
