IE games and ToEE are still beautiful, the character models could use an upgrade though.

IE's characters were fucked up when they changed them from BG1 to 2. They were perfect in 1, the paperdolls too. 2's models and paperdolls are shit.
There's nothing wrong with ToEE, pagans.

People are cancelling their Collectors Edition Pre-Orders and asking for refunds.

Interesting thread. On page 2, One person was denied a refund because he was sent a Steam Key. He's not happy and states since the CE hasn't been shipped and won't ship until June, Beamdog should deduct $20 from the refund for the key. The rest should be refunded.

Also, people who haven't received a key? No answer on that.

Dah fuq? There is nothing wrong with ToEE models... they are fucking perfect (see 2:19). But yeah, it's a beautiful game.

I requested a refund for my collector's edition and it was accepted. I had not received a steam key.

Fucking hell! Those forum dwellers are absolute shit.

I do think however that's it's both unreasonable to want this refund and unreasonable to expect it and that's what i'm expressing.

:what:

The last post I made there was telling those fuckers how toxic they were. I had to resist from posting to that fucking idiot.

The pricy and elaborate CE does imply A LOT of pre-launch confidence. Was this based on solid market research? Somehow i doubt it.

Arent these CEs almost unprofitable for a company? I hope they have some JIT clause or something with the producer, or else we may find these CEs buried somewhere in the desert, a lot of years from now.

You should calm down, it's not like you don't get it back. :troll:

Fuuuuuuu! God damn refugees.

The link to BG2 is handled in such a stupid way.

Stop interplanar invasion -> go to sleep after celebration -> Irenicus kills Skie and steals her soul in a way that incriminates you -> they take you to judgement (CRPG classic, none of the choices seem to matter, nobody cares you saved the world again) -> you get arrested -> Imoen rescues you -> gathers all npcs that are in the BG2 Irenaecus dungeon (they all doubt your innocence by the way) -> get ambushed -> game ends

That do sound utterly stupid. I look forward to being angry at that part.
