Make the Codex Great Again!
Hey, Beamdog fixed lots of bugs of the original games. Then added lots of their own... I've heard of people playing Imoen in BG2EE, and she doesn't get Level 9 spells because the Intelligence cap for D&D applies... that's not funny.

What is your point? Do you think Imoen should be able to cast 9th level spells with INT17?

Perhaps they just pestered her for sex so often that she became bored of them, which is understandable really

That must be it. She's just had too many men pestering her for sexytime.

PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Divinity: Original Sin 2 A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath
BG1+TotSC has an experience cap of 161,000. BG:SoD has an experience cap of 500,000. According to the Beamdog forums they didn't backport the increased cap to the base game, so I don't know what this "can't level up" business is about.
I checked it, depending on your class group Warrior/Priest/Wizard/Rogue, you can level up between 2 or 3 times, with a raised XP cap.
https://forums.beamdog.com/discussi...r-previously-known-as-the-adventure-y-project.

A Warrior type starts at 8th and can reach 10th, Priest type starts at 8th and can reach 10th, A Rogue type (Thief оr Bard) starts at 10th and can reach 12th, a Wizard starts at 9th level and can reach 11th. That's assuming they start at 160 000 and the level cap is 500 000. That's according to the 2nd ed. AD&D Player's Handbook.

Examples range from Corwyn's daughter
In my game Corwyn has no daughter. It's her little sister, who deeply cares for onee-sama. And in my game Corwyn not some ugly butch, but sexy elven lesbian. So fuck you Amber Scott and fuck your agenda.

Multiclass characters only get 1 level, maybe 2 if the multiclass is with thief and druid.

Can't wait to see what modders do to this game
*Inception music playing.

What if there is a mod inside of a BG 1 mod?

Then that mod will start to collapse in on itself. Meanwhile, the BG series will be in Limbo until you hang out on the beach long enough to meet the right Asian guy to bring you back.

So basically all owners of BG:EE SoD have become ladyboy Thai prostitutes that wait at the beach to get picked up by wealthy Asian men. Good job Beamdog. Good job.

Grab the Codex by the pussy Codex USB, 2014 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
There is a lot of Bard gear in this new expansion, including the hat that the Amber developer/writer person wears in the photos. I would recommend taking a Bard if anyone is about to roll a new character.

Are there any summoning stuff for bards like in Icewind dale?

That, I have not seen. So far I've seen +1 Charisma boots, +1 Charisma (+2 to bards) hat, Amber writer's hat, various instruments, and I think one other random bard's item/clothing. That's not to say there's no summoning items, but so far I'm just finding items that give + attributes, saving throws/resistance, and additional mage spell memorization slots.

Of course, I have no bard.

I hope everyone is having a good time. We have a bugfix patch coming soon. Sorry if we broke your game.

I wish we weren't getting review spiked but oh well life sucks and is infinitely terrible~

Are the bad reviews just Grrr social justice?
There are a fair number of bugs we are fixing and multiplayer is slightly broken. So far only two publications have reviewed the game but they are giving it scores in the 8s.

Gonna say I'm enjoying both the 2.0 patch and what little I've played of Dragonspear immensely so far. Don't let the idiot brigade get you down.
It's hard when they tank your review scores :(

Oh well. We will do better next time.

He means they'll try to do better, we'll see if it actually happens (I'm predicting it won't). Regardless, it must be rough for all the Beamdoggies who had nothing to do with the writing.

Is there no way to recruit garrick? I'm playing a LE dick and I wonder if I out-dicked this potential NPC.

I remember plenty of stuff for bards in the first Icewind Dale. I don't know if there's summoning items, but thereare a couple of magic items with effects and spells and etc.

I happened by the forums and it looks like anyone who disagrees with Beamdog has been either banned or silenced by the fanladyboys. Back to the Codex, I guess.

Honestly, I don't know. I found that part of the city a little jarring. I thought that if I was being led to a character, it would be relatively easy to recruit them. However, I was rejected most of the time; it seems like you have one chance to say the right things to get characters like Garrick and Tiax, but evidently I said the wrong thing and was locked out.

If you are playing an evil character, be aware that a whole bunch of your teammates show up in the first post-city area. I have no idea where Dorn is, but Viconia appears when you are about to leave the city, and two others are wandering around in the forest. You don't need to scour the city for them.

If I remember correctly in Icewind there was a lute or harp that was only usable by bards and summoned berserkers.

Yes, although I want to say it was a horn. There were a number of items like that in Baldur's Gate, although not specific to Bards necessarily.
