To be more productive about the feedback thread I'm glad that Larian is at least aware that the evil route is downright comical and veering into cartoon evil territory. Also it's interesting that they are surprised with Halsin's popularity, I mean he is an elf who has the form a bodybuilder, a good druid and is more than willing to slaughter goblins. What's not to like about that? I would gladly trade him for Wyll.

Halsin being young/fit was a last minute change according to the writer, he previously was old and wizened.
But, yes, dude is jacked AF.

Swen dumbed down the gameplay in DOS2 immensely and added a ton of Bioware style sexy time options specifically to cater to casuals and the mainstream.

At this point sex scenes don't count since they're a staple of the genre. AAA, indie or AA arpeegee fans expect some form of romance and sex scenes.

Yes we know some mechanics in OS2 was shit but it's more enjoyable than OS and better in other ways (companions, Quest design, interactivity). So far, BG3 is better than both.

One of these days I'll actually apply for a 40k license and make that debauched slanneshi cultist simulator that everyone's been waiting for.

Depends on your hardware, RTX 2XXX don't play nice with Vulkan.

Depends on your hardware, RTX 2XXX don't play nice with Vulkan.

Didn't even try Vulkan, but the game's perfectly smooth with DX11 on my 2070. I suspect most mid-range GPUs from the last four years will be able to handle it just fine.

Yeah basically the game runs perfectly fine on 1660 and 1650 and AMD equivalents in Vulkan but RTX cards shit the bed with Vulkan, at least from what I've read.
DX11 is also possibly slightly better if you have less than 16gb of ram or use an HDD.

I'll quote myself because I'm that hot and sexy:

From experience and what I have learned :
If you have an RTX 2XXX use DX11.
8GB of RAM is borderline because the game has memory leaks, on my machine it typically averages 10GB of RAM usage.
HDD are a bottleneck for the game, if you don't have an SSD to install it to I wouldn't even bother playing for now.
The game is relatively light on your GPU and previous gen GTX 1XXX run it fine.
CPU doesn't seem to overload but I haven't really checked it on my old FX-8350.

Vulkan ran fine for me, and looked good on my GTX 1060.
