As a highly regarded investigative journalist, I’ve come to the conclusion that the following factions are being heavily targeted to manipulate the online discourse:

Sex Weirdos – This is a great faction to target because, though in the grand scheme they are not a huge group of people, they possess a cultish loyalty to anything that tickles their specific fancies. Since they were fused to their gaming chairs long ago from sitting in a stinking pool of dehydrated cum, they have plenty of time to infest all the internet locales that normals frequent and feverishly post about how amazing the game is in between milkings.

Sad Lonelies – These folks are just grateful for anything that pulls them away from the pit of despair that they’ve allowed themselves to be dragged into over the years. Just add a dorky / gothy chick with jet black hair and you’ve got them by the balls and the feels both. With their newfound energy, they will be your stalwart defenders on any internet message board. They’ll do anything for their new drug. These guys will be gone when they relapse back into a depressive hell about a month after release.

Sad Lonely Sex Weirdos – RUN! THEY’RE TOO POWERFUL!!

Women – The wildcard group. I’ve never met a woman in my life that would prefer to watch Jon Rambo feed grenades to a base full of Asians over a shitty TV Hallmark movie. Not really a problem, but they are the best complainers we have as a species and game designers seem unable or unwilling to get in front of a group of complaining women. The strategy is to keep them happy by avoiding any “unsafe” varieties of masculinity, thus keeping the reddits and message boards mostly positive.

Well my worries about BG3 is they are using simplified system called 5E, and from what I found when I tried Solasta, playing 5E is mindlessly dumb. Like where is feeling of improvements? Where is danger? Where is detailed system? Even ToEE L1 summon dog which lasted one round had its purpose... Well funnily enough it was more useful as a distraction to make enemy trip when enemy charged and dog was summoned into his way, and then enemy tried to find the already disappeared dog which might even bite him.

In few ways better than BG3, too.

EDIT - The game even comes with ACTUAL flight and wall climbing. Imagine that.

Of course, the other side of the coin is that production value is low tier and that outside of combat it doesn't even attempt to offer much.

I was going to play Astarion as an arcane trickster, but I am talking myself into playing the Urge.
Warlock 2 Sorcerer 3 gives me quickened double eldritch blast + CHA damage modifier, right? And it makes sense for the Bhaalspawn to be a warlock, and I can get the darkness and dark vision from either class, which seems to work in this game.

Solasta has an excellent mod in Unfinished Business and also custom dungeons/campaigns. Its a lot of value if you use them. Hundreds of hours.

Outsiders go to their home plane when they die on the Prime Material, so what's the big deal? She'd be fine. In fact, wouldn't that rid her of the larva? If not, what and where is the Githyanki afterlife?

I think Lae'zel storyline will be about her loosing faith in Vlaakith and gith culture generally (and being redeemed by true love, ofc). Or redeeming this faith, depends on what route you like.
