Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
What a surprise, there's actually a dark elf paladin in game and it's just as cringe as your average redditor
I'm sorry that there's no burly gay dwarf to satisfy your needs.
dorfs don't ghey. they work, drink and fight. ghey is elf - lazy and degenerate.

That was the most based response from a developer, ever.

It's funny how few people seem to remember that you could talk to NPCs in BG1&2 using party members. It just wasn't a very well-developed feature.

The little lips icon on whichever character's avatar showed who was speaking at a given moment.
There's one scene in BG1 where a random NPC immediately kills anyone who starts a conversation with her. If it was a companion who talked to her, you can then get the NPC to resurrect that companion and then advance the scene, but if it was the main character who talked to the NPC it's an instant game over.

The Lord of the Rings would be so much better if they added 4 hours of dating and sex scenes between all of our favorite characters. We could have Sam sucking Frodo off while Gollum jerks off behind a rock or Legolas could meet a dwarf woman and they could share an emotional moment before cutting to a bondage scene... They'd have to cut out some action and adventure parts but who cares about stupid shit like that?

The article from Ars Technica is basically exactly what I felt. This game is the typical "new" Marvel D&D garbage. And to this day, it has not changed.
But I bought worse games.

Drow Paladin is about as "legal" as Drow Ranger.
They're Chaotic Evil. Lolth is Chaotic Evil. What's the ONE thing that defines Paladins? Their adherence to a fucking code, which means lawfulness.

Funny that Drizzt the snowflake ended up being the reason for a whole population of "good" drow.

That is what the "seldarine drow" option you can pick is for, right?

The reason is: Can you imagine a "good drow"? If you can imagine it, why can't you play it? No good reason.
In general, restrictions are removed when homebrewing, not added. That's where the community drags things towards.

Paladins are just religious warriors. If there are chaotic evil gods, there should be chaotic evil paladins. It was always stupid.

Those are clerics.

Paladins need lawfulness to adhere to their oaths.
Main power source is their oath, not the god.
