why waste time and effort starting from scratch when you can cheat and get on top :smug:.
Because of integrity and passion for the art form
LoL no,gimme them coins and the fame, keep your art.

This thread has moved so far beyond reasonable discussion that petty jabs and cheap shots are the only things left to do here.
Fair enough,we all have our entertainment during the lockdown. So how is it going in your part of the world, getting 1000 dead per day?

Codex Year of the Donut
choice a:
go to an existing guide site that is well formatted and easy to navigate
choice b:
go to a blog written by an angry person that has a horrible layout and is difficult to navigate and on the 5th page of my search engine

Clearly the second, any self respecting codexer will spit in the face of dumbed down sites and begin its google search at page 5 lol. Also if you had a problem with reading rants from an angry people, you wouldn't have been on the codex lol, here everyone is angry....or a stalker.....or an angry tranny.

Sometimes they're all three User0001

LoL no,gimme them coins and the fame, keep your art.

You'll be forgotten like the rest of them. People may be blind in the moment but when they look back they realize where the passion and art existed. It's why Baldur's Gate 3 will be forgotten in 20 years but Baldur's Gate 2 is beloved and known to this day. You will not live in the memories of the codex but when my blog comes out I will be eternal in the mind of real rpg players everywhere

sorinmask , Cael and a few other shitposters have literally tried to build blogs to compete with mine.
I never did, and I never will. I would absolutely never write a blog about 20 year-old RPGs, because as I pointed out quite a few times in the past, I always look forward to the future. I, as a person, am a man that always likes to learn something new. To experience a new game. A new world. A new combat system. Anything new and original.
I would never wallow in the past. I would let it guide my wisdom in appreciating the now or the future, but never trap me.

I also refuse to let past games trap my child-like approach to games. I compare, but never fully render judgement until I have experienced the whole product. And I play on all difficulty settings, to make sure I have experienced every RPG in all of its forms - always with the same enthusiasm I had back when I was 14.

You can label everything you just read as autistic, of course, but when I "pour an RPG into a glass", I savour every drop like you would fine wine.

Now compare this post with the shit Octavius blows up your ass in your threads? How's this for shitposting? <3

Lies. You began posting a blog as you promised to but then pulled the plug when you got smashed to pieces by my King Content. You are one of several 'Dexers that attempted to strike out on their own as a commentator over the last 5 years, but you couldn't handle the big leagues, so you scampered back into the 'Dex stronghold to at least survive in shit-poster form.

Quoting this so you can't delete it. And, because it sounds like paranoia.

I googled "Baldur's Gate worst weapons" and didn't find Lilura's blog at all.....

I know this may come as a surprise to you, but people search for "best" much more than they do "worst". Targeting "worst" SEO is a waste of time if your goal is ever-steepening inclination and butthurt generation.

I tap into Baldur's Gate power-gamer demographic, and autists. These people are the life-force of the Baldur's Gate fanbase.

I remember reading a horrible blog. Was it yours? I'm not sure. Who can tell between one nameless hack and another? Can't remember you now, won't remember you tomorrow. No body will remember me for now but as soon as I release my blog I will rise above all of you.

Of course not, Ontopoly.
Wrong person dip shit. When are people on this site going to learn that accusing everyone of using an alt isn't funny and definitely isn't clever. Our writing styles are so different but I wouldn't expect you people to notice or even know what writing style means. I'm assuming you didn't read literally any of the thread or else you would realise that there isn't a single person here who hasn't used that angle. Fantadomat just goes against the grain for
attention anyways. I do it because I truly have potential to make a change and have the passion to attempt it. Eat ass idiot.

There's always blind people that can't see the bigger picture and don't see real art in front of them. These are the equivalent to the people in this thread that think bg3 will be amazing, perspectiveless hacks that don't know shit.

Edit: also what's up with you Larian fanboys googling old posts to prove something instead of just talking yourself?

Talking about art, a quote from American History X, about quoting (with a quote):

Danny Vinyard: So I guess this is where I tell you what I learned - my conclusion, right? Well, my conclusion is: Hate is baggage. Life's too short to be pissed off all the time. It's just not worth it. Derek says it's always good to end a paper with a quote. He says someone else has already said it best. So if you can't top it, steal from them and go out strong. So I picked a guy I thought you'd like. 'We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory will swell when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.'

Oh, my... It's almost like I made a joke that fanta took too seriously, so I pushed it a bit further than I originally intended by looping it back to where it originated from. How terrible of me! But do not worry - it's not supposed to win the Fields Medal.

Then you'd wrong, o Bitch Queen of Bitching. Maybe if you weren't wailing so much about how everybody in this thread is conspiring with Larian you wouldn't be made this much fun of.

We'll definitely be seeing more of those. Calling it now, BG3 is going to end with a huge battle between spelljammers in space.
Baldur's Gate 3 ends at level 10. It's more like the final battle will be 3 ilithids and you'll get some gimmick to help you through the battle
Final battles in Baldur's Gate and ToEE were fine despite the games never going past level 10 as well.

If you want to affect change, think of it this way:

This thread has 1,000,000 views. Wow, right? But most of it's just F5'ing by a trashmob.

It's just the same dozen 'tards reading your shit. And some curious onlookers.

This is where blogging comes in. But the problem is, how can you make a blog that gets indexed by Google, and attains a high ranking?

How can you make it so that, every time you post, Google likes it?

I wish. Larian won't be able to resist the urge to make it "epic" though.
