Your problem with it is most likely that a lot of people are playing it and that it has some things that you morally object to
My problem is that it’s another shitty original sin game getting sucked off because they stuffed it with dragon age. By next month it’ll be another forgotten larian game, only remembered because of the surprise sales (cuz its AAA-ish D&D)

Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Codex Year of the Donut Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Feels weird hitting the big city in the last chapter. I feel that it should have been part of the beginning since now I already have the loot and gold, so there is no real incentive to check out the houses and such. Why would I care about finding 25 gold and a disarm kit at this point? Setting wasted. I have more important things than helping a child find her parents at this point, etc.

Also, the whole refugee thing is a bit on the nose.

I mean, where's the problem? Sounds pretty based to me. Good newspaper. I heard there's a quest where you can change the headlines tho.

It's like Baldurs Gate 1.

It's not a "miscommunication".

You can use either. Only completionist autists (like Codexers) or people who have been burned by Larian's underleveling before (me) would do both.

The game sends you the vibes that it's a fork when it's not. So of course it's a miscommunication. If it communicated "you can totally do both" it would be something different. Also, there are huge main plot relevant story segments in both areas which most people would like to experience. The game lets on that the "supposed" route is to only pick one of the maps, but that's not the case at all. So yes, it's a big miscommunication. Look how many people thought it was one way or the other. The proof is in the pudding.

Did they change children being killable? I noticed that the tiefling kids do a round 1 vanish and so do the goblin kids outside of the temple. However you can still murder and loot the 1-2 inside of it as they run for the door. I also managed to get one of the three gobbo children outside in the party camp by starting combat with magic missile and executing them before combat could begin.

Two of them getting away doesn't sit well with me. I must have total goblin death on my map.

This Gortash sounds like a good guy.

The game is very clear when and how quests fail. When you get to the inn via the underdark, the quest for the creche is still available.

You could be 100% fine with just doing one.

If anyone "wants to experience" it all, they can. Like I said those are mostly players who scour the whole map anyway.

In fact, they can even go back after starting Act 2, which is massive incline over Larian's previous games.

It's such a travesty having to install nvidia's new drivers just to get rid of the prompt in the launcher (yes I know how to disable the launcher). They don't contain any optimizations for my ancient card.

I can't believe myself, but after Githyanki Creche I'm actually starting to trust the Dream Guardian. Sure, she's probably rebel Illithid megabrain, long lost prince Orpheus or some other chthtonic shit, but the scene with sword actually moved me. Imagine my surprise, when I've reloaded and "killed" her to check if there's a way to side with Vlaakith. Still, I've believed in her sincerity before reloading, so I'm gonna stick with that.

(the chthonic shit part is kinda scary, cause in next dream interlude she appeared in her pajamas instead of usual golden armor)
