I am getting divorced because of Baldurs Gate 3
My wife caught me in the middle of the night pulling rope to a tiefling NPC. We fought for a day, but mostly she was just depressed and couldn't imagine me having an attraction to a red woman with horns.
She was able to put it mostly behind her, but she called up all her friends and relatives and was on the phone seeking advice on what to do about the situation. I tried to explain to her that it was just a kind of fantasy and that I found her more attractive than any video game character, but the next time we made love she noticed that my eyes were closed most of the time, and she accused me of imagining the tiefling. And in truth, I was. I was imagining gripping the tiefling by her horns and pounding away.
Tonight, I was in camp and initiated a love scene with Lae'zel, the Githyanki green woman. The game was pumping through my speakers and my wife could hear the narrator describing the love making. She came storming into the room faster than I could react. I tried to alt tab but i kept hitting the wrong keys on accident and wasnt fast enough.
She saw the green face and the pointy ears and the pointy teeth, and now she thinks I'm possessed by Satan and sexually attracted to mystical creatures and devil women with horns and pointy teeth. She locked herself in our bedroom, and I could hear her crying and moving things all around. Hours later she opened the door and stormed out of the house with two suitcases and told me she's filing for a divorce. She won't answer my calls.
I really wish I never played this game.

Can't believe how lame and utterly gay the official Larian forums are. Resetera tier.

Guy outlines his issues with CURRENT_YEAR things and gets banned. The forums are not even worth reading while on the shitter.

The list declares there are issues in the game, "Because Larian Studios has sacrificed art for political points". The issues being the game is too easy on tactician mode, the UI is clunky, there are bugs, etc. I am pretty sure Larian didn't intentionally leave bugs in the game because George Soros paid them, but who knows.
Then the author complains that there are too many female barbarians, and too much degeneracy in the game. Which basically reveals they are both new to video games, new to D&D, and new to the internet in general. Or, you know, virtue signaling their chastity.

How anyone can read this post and come up with the conclusion that the forum is bad for not taking him seriously is beyond me. This is a very unserious post. I'd be worried if they did take him seriously.

Yes. Only powerbuilders complain about not reaching the cap.
KM and WoTR have much better xp.
Though his quest log is much smaller than he thinks because half if not more of these quests are basically connected.

That just means you can focus on the critical path to be done with it.

The game already does, partly because 5e still hasn't fixed dead/lame levels.

Trying to replay Original Sins after BG3 and getting really annoyed by floor is lava combat in DOS2, just example how DnD made Larian better. I dread what we will see in DOS3 in the future.

it doesn't matter if they're connected.
the game gives you XP for each one of them

That just means you can focus on the critical path to be done with it.

I don't play a game to be done with.
I like to do side quests for the full immersion


Also I really don't know how someone can botch this XP income thing.

The game is fairly railroaded and the combat encounters are scripted at various points in the game. It's not like you can have random encounters to abuse it and gain infinite XP

Also they give XP when a follower is inspired. lol
Like the designers were afraid no player will reach lvl cap.


It's better to farm XP in a game via side quests to reach higher levels to smash some particular enemies than to reach lvl cap too early in the game.

The same problem was with Pilllows of Eternity.
PoE2 I never finished but I doubt they resolved it.
