Strap Yourselves In
All those cosmetics and Wyll is still the worst character
Yup. Which is why I didn't care at first and just slapped a quick generation in. But it started to annoy me, so I went ahead and fixed it (ftmp).

Wyll is a victim of his writer's priorities. The writer wanted him to be oh-so-special, so he came up with this elaborate backstory for him.

But the writer was so focused on this that he forgot to make Wyll himself interesting in some way. He has almost no personality beyond the thin façade of him occasionally larping a hero - which apparently is all motivated by daddy issues that barely exist.

As a result, Mizora is the only interesting thing about Wyll. And I'd say she's worth taking him along. Especially since he's optional to have in the party even to experience much of his own content. E.g., you can rescue Mizora without him being there with you, so long as he hasn't left your group yet.

Games in 2014:
->Bayonetta 2
->Dark Souls II
-> Hearthstone
-> Shadow of Mordor
-> Wolfenstein: A New Order
-> Divinity: Original sin
-> Alien: Isolation
-> South Park: The Stick of Truth
These are probably all the most important games released this year.
It was really bad year.

Fun fact: Blizzard was nominated in the best programmer category. A lot has changed in these few years.

In 2016 it was probably even worse:
-> FF15
-> Ratchet & Clank
-> Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
-> Doom
-> Dark Souls 3
-> Uncharted 4
-> Titanfall 2
It was such a shitty year that DLC for Witcher 3 won in the RPG category.

Yes. I like those games as well, but neither of them are peak rpg material. Specially considering that from those, only two of them had good exploration. (sekiro and elden ring). And aside of Sekiro, all of them are bloated.

well I might decide to try some mods, now that there are a few available, and pick up the game again

I was playing on balanced, and now I will start again on tactical.
I beat it on balanced, too, and realized, apart from a few of boss battles, the game is piss-easy, and I should've started with tactician from the jump.
