Swen be more selective with your shit posting, you've jumped the shark a few times.
Who gives a fuck if the ex-New Zealand prime minister does some things on youtube.
Outside of that, i rate you 3.5/5 trannies for trolling.

Just started playing this game and need somewhere to vent my frustrations since I don't have friends.
-Every character is too conventionally attractive.
-Too much emphasis with the companions on romancing them.
-Character models have very little variation. Why is it half-orcs just look like humans with orc faces? Why can't I tell at a glance what race someone is?
-Character customization is horrible. Having every haircut and beard for every race means they look mediocre on everyone.
-Same inventory problems as DoS:2
k thanks

The classic big city in RPG experience, yes. I fucking hate cities in RPGs
Very much this, yeah. BG3 elevates this to a whole another level though, with quest NPCs literally swarming the streets of Baldur’s Gate. They‘ve given them some one-liners to attract player’s attention which they repeat constantly and it becomes so annoying you stop paying any. It’s a horrible game design. BG1’s Baldur’s Gate wasn’t good either, but at least it encouraged you to seek for the adventure with quest NPCs being rather a rare occurrence. Of course it’s changed with BG2 where the world was already your oyster railroaded into “tailored” experience although still bearing a divine touch of incline.

Just play a Dragonborn - you can go crazy with horns, spikes, tails, skin textures etc. Also it looks hilarious when your puny companions gamely romance you.

Oh I did. They are about the only race I think looks decent. Its bad when I prefer the character models from a game that came out in 2011. For a game based on DND the character editing is majorly lacking...but you know, we got genitals!

They are going to fix triggered dialogue so that it prioritises the PC, apparently

Amazing that it took them 7 months to implement that, but ok, better late than never I guess?

At least the game gets patches 7 months after release that actually fix something, which is almost weird.

I had a situation where I thought the game bugged out because no buttons would work on my character, but it turns out it was just Shovel the familiar trapped in a dialog with an emerald grove guard who was sending him to jail

the console version only came out in December and is still full of annoying crap like out of sync sound and Unreal 3 engine levels of texture loading during every single cut scene.

I wonder if they will become completely greedy and traditionally demand more royalties and, as a result, Larian will give up the license in future games.
It wouldn't be anything new.

Would probably result in better games. While the extensive lore and worldbuilding of D&D / forgotten realms has shored up one of larians major weaknesses as a developer, I think game systems designed for CRPGs from the beginning make for better games typically.
