Cryomancer
Arcane
Looks retardedly overpowered.
Has his drawbacks too. You are very weak while exposed to sunlight.

Is there even any reason to ever be in sunlight in BG ever? Stealth gets a penalty during the day, so that alone makes playing a night objectively superior. There's also some traders that only show up at night. Only reason to be out during the day I can think of is not getting the vampire encounters at Athkatla very early when you're too weak to handle them.Looks retardedly overpowered.

Soon for your classic Baldur's Gate setup.
Some guy is doing insane QOL work for the original Baldur's Gate games.

Which means? Easier to switch weapons and shields, which was the one good thing about the EE?
Unlimited Hand off slot: (EXPERIMENTAL, alpha state)
Allow fit weapon/shield in hand off slot even when item in main hand has restrictions to hand off.
You can drag to hand slots for example two hand sword and shield, but shield will be disabled.
Option usefull for switching between main hand' weapon slots, if selected item has no restrictions, hand off slot will be activated again. If you save game with incompatible items, you can't load it if will uninstall this compenent
The AoE indicator is truer to PnP, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯That aoe indicator is 100% pure decline. The game has friendly fire and shipped without the indicator, it’s intended to be part of learning the ropes. Once you play a bit you can get very very accurate with AoE spells, which gives a satisfaction not matched by just having the game tell you where an effect lands.
Plus, with the original lack of an indicator, it really made the “only affects enemies” property of some spells especially important. The AoE indicator lessens the risk of friendly fire, diminishing the value of those spells.
TLDR; it’s popamole garbage making an easy game even easier, you should be ashamed that you celebrate it here on the codex, decline-enabler.
have a nice day,

EE is great indeed, smooth scrolling + zoom (which is a must if you use high resolution). i made an install of TEE (BG1+2+Expansion) + almost jokingly i installed 110 mods on top of it (using that database tool which automates and fixes a ton when it comes to which order its supposed to be installed in).. i did however only take mods that seemed fairly interesting, but i also was expecting it to be like a 50/50 chance of me just breaking it completely. I think i'm around 100h in now, still works like a charm.
720p is the ideal resolution for IE games.
Also, EE games have the black border of death. The most disgusting immersion killer of all time.

But can you use mprilla's SUPERSCRIPTS with the EEs?
You have a screen with bad resolution scaling then. On a good screen (even 4K, as is mine) running the game in 720p looks crisp and nice. On the other hand the scaling algorithm of EE sucks ass and the game looks blurry as fuck when zoomed in. That's my biggest gripe with EE, along with forcing you to use the desktop resolution.720p is only ideal if you have a screen which is native 720p, which no one has. 720p on my 2K screen looks like shit, blurry etc. you need to use the native resolution to make it look crisp.

Disagree about the outlines, but yes (i kind of dislike the outlines close up, but i never play that zoomed in).. just think they make the characters pop in a nice way..
