More fun from our good friend Playcircus.

Planescape was hack and slash, it was not much more than a story, there was no character creation, the gameplay was nothing special, and the enemies were not very unique, Planescape was a good game but it was not so great it made Oblivion mediocre, I have read books with a better story than the one in Planescape and Planescape didn't offer anything but a good story, Oblivion offered a level of freedom that not many games offered and they built a life-like 3D world to have that freedom in, personally if I want a good story I read a book, if I want freedom and choice I play video games.

I'm starting to think he does this on purpose.

Freedom and choice in Oblivion? Huh? Am I missing something here?

The fact, that we cannot remotely dumbfuck people on other forums is sufficient evidence for nonexistence of god.

Your freedom of choice in Oblivion is limited only by your imagination; logically so, since that is usually where said choices play out.

I'm just annoyed Bethesda didn't include guns. It's supposed to be a roleplaying game; well, I want to roleplay a gunslinger.

Of course the guy was teasing, but let's be honest, regardless of being a better game, PS:T is way more linear than ES4:O.

ES4:O is an average RPG overall, PS:T is an excellent adventure, but poor on the RPG department. I can understand fans of ES series not appreciating PS:T

WHAT? Ever heard of choices and consequences? Oblivion is a nonlinear game, but it's impossible to railroad the main story (or the guild questlines) more than Oblivion does. And linearity says nothing about RPG qualities. Oh wait - certainly you are only teasing...
