I think they won't stick cause Vanilla is primitive compared to Retail.

I hated Retail for a long time cause I quit during Wotlk and it was a casul fest of a game for kids. But now I came back in BFA and boy was I surprised. It's quite an experience.

I played on and off since release, but haven't bought BFA yet, vanilla and TBC were my favourites. WoLK the game came with a lot of quests I hated, a lot of interactive quests and shit I hated. I preferred grinding mob livers & kills.

How are RP servers in the raiding department? I've always had this image in my head that they don't do very well, but I have nothing to back that up with lol.

I never raided, but had a friend that did that played on a RP server. It was either Steamwheedle or Earthen ring, can't remember... but there was no problem for him.

I mean do they clear raids in a reasonable amount of time, or do they clear the hardest difficulty mode on retail, etc.

That I have no idea about. I just know he spent many hours raiding and counting DKP points.

I logged in around 5:20 PM Eastern to discover a 10,000+ queue and a 80 minute wait. It's like vanilla all over again!

Gehennas-EU PvP and playing Alliance as Ninjerk. Horde is going to be overpopulated. Alliance queues are gonna be instant and World PvP plentiful.

Layering was a complete bust. Before I got disconnected the whole thing was just jerking around. 2 hour queue now.

So my 90 minute queue went down to 68 and is now back up to 87 (fewer people in queue). I wonder how many people signed up at the last minute and completely threw their analytics off.

I doubt they didn't think of that eventuality. I suspect they didn't want to open too many servers in case people just start leaving in droves after 2 weeks.

Those are rookie numbers, my queue time is 585 minutes. That's what you get when they choose to implement a single Oceanic PVP server
