Wait, weren't you the one that didn't play PoE until after like 5 years waiting for all the patches... or was it someone else.

That was me, but five years is excessive. RPGs tend to be in a solid state after a year of support, sometimes only after a few months if that's all they get. Just not at release.

Then what the fuck are you judging me for? You're the last person to say shit given how long you waited to even start PoE. 1 year isn't long enough. I think between 3 and 4 years is the sweetspot since they start ending support roughly around then.

I waited a year for PoE.

Since when? Most single-player games end support after just a few months, a handful get more than that. Kingmaker was in solid shape after the release of the enhanced edition and its subsequent patches in June 2019.

It's still getting patched up last I checked. September of this year was the last patch since I was thinking about playing it until I saw that come out.

RE Harems

Harems have been considered in the West at times when we were out of men (due to wars). That's the point, when you are out of men you need to figure out a system that takes care of all the women. I am not entirely sure why we never gave it a serious try. Anyway, we gave different solutions to the problem, but harems will continue being an option in such situations.

I suspect Avellone is working as a ghost writer if he is working at all, I doubt he will be out in public anytime soon.
Unless he wants to go full lulcow and start a Patreon to make porno games or something.

It is time for everyone to accept the facts and admit that Chris Avellone is the worst person in the world. Worse than Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin. Worse than Bobby Kotick. Worse than Lucifer. Perhaps even worse than Trump. It's time to admit it and remove Chris from the codex's list of nice people forever.

Even I don't have that many fans on the Codex with moist panties at the slightest criticism of their god - who hasn't lead a game development project from start to finish since Alpha Protocol (2010). Soon enough he'll join Chris Roberts in the Hall of Has-Beens.

It is now time to publicly announce that this person is not worthy to bear the name of a great leader of Soviet Russia. I hereby denounce thee.

Avellone is so desperate to work on Fallout again that this is the length he's willing to go.

Since someone suggested why the fuck not: Dear @elonmusk please buy the Fallout franchise and I will work on it for free even if it means walking on the surface of Mars and taking off my helmet

You may recall that period of time when Avellone seemed to be sucking up to Bethesda (trying to get a job as a Fallout guy), followed by suddenly openly trashing them, suggesting that he was explicitly told that they would never let him work on a Fallout title again. This is his only hope. :M

If he ever gets the chance again, I hope he left his PG13 view of Fallout behind and embrace his older writing self.
