Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
"mental illness, mental illness/mental illness, mental illness(mental illness), author of mental illness: the game, lead writer of mental illness: the book, lead director of mental illness: the movie, associate mental illness course professor at mental illness university for the disabled and mentally ill"
I bet these clowns are incapable of producing anything that isnt tarnished by their "worldviews".

Glad Chris received a retraction, but he is still fucked. Game developers/Twitter by and large won’t care. If anything, many will see this as proof of guilt. Nuance is not a strong suit of the industry

It's not about Chris' return to the gamedev, it's about justice.

Of course, he is not going to make gaems anymore.

But now he can drink absinthe, do cocaine, and fuck his wife in his beautiful private estate in CA till his death, knowing that his reputation is restored in court, and all whores are punished.

When Infinitron asked Avellone about it during the May of Rage, he said it was a question for Chris Parker and I'm sure his management style caused all sorts of problems that made Brian want to leave, but a game story not having enough reactivity is a 100% Avellonian complaint. I can't imagine Chris "I get almost got to make Skryim" Parker or Feargus really giving that much of a damn about an RPG not being reactive enough.
Not sure why you're tagging me for this.

You rated his earlier post about Mitsoda "Citation needed".

Since its everyone's fantasy to imagine Avellone writing something for their game, I would love to see him on Vagrus. He would have the freedom and ability to write whatever he wanted assuming he could get it to fit within the style of the game, and I want to see what this old man is actually capable of.

Man, I guess Johnny Depp really did kill MeToo. It's hard to find people who still are on the side of thots in this case.

Just some personally invested morons on twitter here and there.
Very tiny pockets of unwell chronically online people on reddit (gamingcirclejerk).

And that's it.

Is it justice when he remains blacklisted though?

Leftists and the Woke media don't care about you being proven to be innocent and justice being made. Once they deem you guilty, you will always be so.
However, Chris also has a lot of supporters (Codex included) and, arguably, has the money to start his own enterprise.

He did but lost a lot of fucking money. Only after he won, he was able to reprise his money making role: cpt Jack Sparrow. That Amber bitch should have been blacklisted in Hollywood but she will stilll be in Aquaman 2.

since the "lawsuit" was basically hysterical screeching of a lonely neurotic woman
While lonely neurotic women being put in their place isn't something to particularly cheer about, it still feels like a bit of normalcy was restored to the world.
I think we need every little bit of this and it might even be a useful reality check for mentally ill people of twatter. At least some of them might double check the shit they post now that there are apparently consequences in the adult world.
rest assured brother, twitter isn't real life and does not matter. rejoice, for Chris has won a victory this day.

Avellone worked on both Kingmaker and WotR, and is now working on Rogue Trader. Owlcat never ditched Avellone.
Owlcat made the video private but a community manager confirmed that they let him go. They just had enough respect for him/fear of their core audience's reaction not to go grave-dancing, unlike others. https://rpgcodex.net/forums/threads...retracted-victory-for-mca.133607/post-7174998

Avellone also confirmed last year that he didn't get a chance to do much of anything on Wrath https://rpgcodex.net/forums/threads/chris-avellone-appreciation-station.101693/post-7700804
