Civilization VI had shit, boring, unengaging, unsatisfying, tedious gameplay and it was already woke in 2016, with the list of "civilizations" and leaders being pozzed to the brim (ancient nigger tribes like "mbungu gongo de kongo bonbo" are not civilizations, hence the quote marks). They will not make a better game in the current year, and it will be much more woke due to overton window reasons. Wokeness will not be limited to fat nigger females as leaders of every other "civilization", it will also permeate gameplay because too many traditional Civ mechanisms are outdated in the current year. Barbarians will almost definitely be removed because the notion of primitive people roaming around and wanting to destroy cities is a no-go (we call them refugees today and we love those little niggers). End game will 100% be dominated by climate change. These things are obvious when you think about what a Civilization game made in the current year will be, I do not have to see footage or screenshots and I definitely will not listen to interviews with some faggy game devs, because I am sufficient with my knowledge that the west has fallen and it's all over.

But just to be sure, I checked their website (https://firaxis.com/team-studio/). Of course, these are mostly guys hired around 2014 and after. Lead designer joined in 2008, he had nothing to do with Civilization IV released in 2005. Two main producers are diversity hires (some bitch and a fat nigger). Nobody of the main developers listed on the website had anything to do with Civilization IV. It's the same case as with Diablo and a myriad of other franchises where none of the people responsible for the original games are still around, yet people still have some expectations that new releases will not suck dick. They will, in 100% of the cases.

2005 was 20 years ago. Some of the people working then are 60+ now. I don't know what you expect, or if you've thought it through.

CiV for all the bad decisions they made with it, at least had fucking screenshots of the game showing the map is hexes as soon as they revealed its being fucking made.

All marketing has to do is announce a new game, fans will buy it regardless of quality as long as they can post pictures on Twitter.
Not even 40% of players have ever declared war or actually finished a single game. We are talking millions not spending less than 5 hours to win a settler difficulty quick game.

Modern gamers buy games to not play them and just to watch them be in their steam library because marketing/influencers tell em to.Civ 7 can't fail no matter what. It can only fail to meet expectations which is gonna happen to every strategy game that isn't Dota or Lol.
