My mech's handily falling apart, but then again I did take out the dragon singlehandedly (yep, hogging the fame here, it was my sneaky leg sweep that felled it after all) and then did a nasty DFA on the Guillotine, so I count it as a moral victory, even though my threat rating has plummeted after my large laser went bust. :lol:

Round 12 Fire (lost opportunity)

Two mechs presented their backsides to their opponents but no serious damage was inflicted despite the Stalker taking aim at the left torso, hoping to hit the SRM ammo storage. Only one of the Thunderbolt's lasers struck the Guillotine, not enough to cut into its internal structure. And while there's nothing the Dragon can do to prevent a second attempt at his life, the Guillotine and Thunderbolt have both regained their mobility , making another shot at the rear armour much less likely.

After realizing that the Stalker has barely been scratched everyone's attention suddenly shifts towards him and in the next round he may find himself in the center of a brawl. While the Thunderbolt moves like a ninja through the brushes, careful to remain unseen during his approach, the Guillotine jumps right into the flight path of the Archers LRMs.

Let's start with some bad news: tindrli remains unconscious for at least another round. Not that there's much left of his mech anyway. The Stalker cut him to pieces this round, destroying the right torso, taking out the PPC and two medium lasers and damaging the gyro, because getting up with one leg clearly isn't difficult enough already. Quite the feat considering he actually aimed for the left torso. But he was also on the receiving end this time as a third of Deuce's LRMs struck true.
